a) Project title: Grant from Romesh Wadhwani Donation Account

b) About the project: Wadhwani Electronics Lab was established in 2001 through a generous donation from our distinguished alumnus Dr. Romesh Wadhwani (Wadhwani Charitable Foundation). The goal of the lab has been to facilitate curricular lab courses in the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Bombay. More recently, the lab has undertaken system development activities to enhance the quality of student projects and to take up translational projects for skill development within the lab, as well as impactful outreach based on such developments.

5. Essential Qualifications & Experience: BE/BTech/MA/MSc/MCA/MBA or equivalent degree OR BA/BSc or equivalent degree with 2 years of relevant experience Mandatory qualifications: demonstrated experience with experimental characterization of biosensors; proficiency in handling, storing, and processing biological samples

6. Job Profile: Perform characterization of nucleic acid biosensors. Sample processing, auxiliary characterization (e.g. UV/Vis spectroscopy, agarose gel plot etc.). Documentation and report writing, presenting results and identifying and debugging problems. Translational research and development to create point of care product based on the technology developed in the lab

7. Pay Details: Level PR-A3: Salary range from Rs.25200 to Rs 50400 + Rs.5000.00/- Out Of Campus Allowance (if applicable) p.m.
