1. Qualification and Experience: 
a. SSC or Intermediate
b. 2-3 years relevant experience in the field and/or glass-house operations
c. Proficiency in data entry 

2. Competencies: 
a. Basic knowledge of field operations and crossing
b. Inquisitiveness to work and learn lab/field activities
c. Well-versed with data entry and text editing
d. Basic computer skills including MS-Office
e. Work in a team environment
f. Candidates with Four-wheeler driving license will be preferred

3. Responsibilities:
a. Support field/laboratory activities in sorghum and pearl millet projects especially related to green house or field experiments including phenotyping, emasculation and pollination
b. Data entry/editing of experimental data
c. Support in the laboratory activities whenever required
d. Support in conducting glass house experiments and data recording
e. Carry out other pertinent activities as requested by supervisor
