The Inspector General of Police, Southern Range, Shimla-171002.

1. The application form must be filled up by the candidate in his / her own handwriting.
2. Home address and Father’s name must be filled up in block letters.
3. For proof of date of birth, only matriculation certificate will be considered.
4. Matriculation certificate (minimum educational qualification) will be considered only from an institution duly recognized by HP Govt./HP Board of School Education.
5. The candidate must write his name and date of birth on the back of the photograph (coloured) before stapling on the Application Form. Total of 5 latest & passport size photographs are required for submission with Application Form. One will be stapled on the front page of application form, 03 will be stapled on the ANNEXURE A1 and one spare photograph will be provided by the candidate by stapling the same with the Application Form.
6. Candidate must have valid registration in any of the Employment Exchanges of HP on the date of submission of application form.
7. Date of PET as indicated in the call letter will not be changed.
8. A processing fee of Rs.140/- (Rs. One Hundred & Forty) only shall be charged from each candidate from the General category and Rs.35/- (Thirty Five) only be charged from each candidate belonging to the categories of the SC/ST/OBC/IRDP. The processing Fee can be deposited through Bank Draft / IPO by the candidate, drawn in favour of the Superintendent of Police, Shimla, District Shimla.

Written Exam / PET / Document Verification

1. The applicatims in the prescribed online format will be submitted by the candidates w.e. 30th March 2019 to 30th April 2019 (in luding Tribal Districts L&S, and Kinnaur) of which he/she is resident as per record. A processing fee of Rs. 140/- (Rs. One Hundred & Forty) only shall be charged from each candidate from the General category and Rs. 35/- (Rs Thirty Five) only from each candidate belonging to the categories of the SC/ST/OBC/ IRDP online.

2. Important Dates: 
a. Starting Date for Submission of Application: 30.03.2019
b. Last date for Submission of Application: 30.04.2019.
