Applications are invited for filling up of Sixteen posts of Fisheries Field Assistant (Class-IV) in the Department of Fisheries, H.P. on Contract basis from the eligible candidates. The detail of criteria is as under:
1. Name of post: Fisheries Field Assistant (Class-IV) (on Contract Basis as per Govt. H.P. norms)
2. No of Post: 16
3. Salary (during contract period): 60% of Pay Level-1, Cell-1 =18000 ([email protected]% =i.e. 10800/- monthly pay)
4. Essential Qualifications: Matriculation from a recognized University/Board or its equivalent.
5. Desirable Qualification: Should have knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

Selection Process for HP Fisheries Department Recruitment 2023
1. Merit of minimum educational qualification, in terms of the Recruitment & Promotion Rules, shall be calculated as Under: (Percentage of marks obtained in prescribed education qualification to be calculated out of 85 marks. For example, a candidate getting 50% marks in Matric will be given 42.5 marks).
2. Evaluation as per the parameters devised by the Department of Personnel vide Notification No. Per(AP.B)B(15)-5/2014, Dated 17-04-2017

B)B(15)-5/2014, Dated 17/04/2017(detail annexed as should reach in the office of the Director-cum-Warden of Fisheries, Himachal Pradesh, Bilaspur-174001 on or before 31/03/2022 for non-schedule tribal area and from schedule tribal area on or before 11/04/2022. The applications received after the last date or found incomplete will be rejected and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained. No TA/DA will be payable to the applicants for appearing in the screening Test/Physical Test.
2. Selected candidate will be posted anywhere in the Department of Fisheries, H.P. The No. of post(s) are tentative and may increase/decrease. In case of increase of post(s) the same shall be filled from waiting list prepared at the time of selection of the post being advertised. Candidates can download the application form the official website of Directorate of Fisheries, H.P, Bilaspur Website: hpfisheries.nic.in. The decision of the department regarding eligibility etc. of a candidate for admission to physical test or selection will be final and no correspondence/ personal enquiries will be entertained.
