Applications are invited for filling up of 14 posts of Mining Guard (Class-IV) on contract basis in the Department of Industries, Geological Wing, Himachal Pradesh in accordance with the Recruitment & Promotion Rules for the post of Mining Guards (Class-IV) in the pay scale 18000-56900+Level-1+group D+ state service on contract basis consolidate fixed contractual amount @ Rs. 10800/-per month of equal to minimum of the pay scale notified by the Government vide Notification No. Ind-ll(B)2-1/2009 dated 11.06.2010.
i. and in accordance with the instructions regarding discontinuing the process of holding interviews in respect of direct recruitment issued by the Deptt. of personnel, H.P. vide notification No.Per (AP)B(15)- 5/2014 dated 17.04.2017 and. subsequent instruction issued by the DOP vide notification letter No PER(AP)C-A(3)-5/2013 dated 08.06.2017
1. Position: Mining Guard (CIass lV)
2. Total number of posts: 14
3. Essential: Should be matriculate from a recognized Board of School Education/ University
4., Desirable: Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar condition prevailing in the Pradesh. The candidate should be a Bonafide Himachali.

1. Admit Card
2. Age Proof
3. Educational Qualification Certificates (Note: matric Pass Certificate is.compulsory)
4. Bonafide Himachali Certificate
5. Employment Registration Certificate
6. The proof of fee deposited in the Bank clearly mentioning the UTR No. of RTGS alongwith date duly signed and stamped by the Bank authorities in original
7. The proof of category i.e. SC/ ST/ OBC Certificate regarding belonging Panchayat as the case may be, issued by the SDO (C Tehsildar/ Naib Tehsildar to notified Backward Areal
8. Certificate regarding Landless family/ family having land less than 1 Hectare issued by the SDO (C) Tehsildar/ Naib Tehsildar Non-employment certificate to the effect that none of the family members is in Government/ Semi-Government service issued by the SDO(C)/ Tehsildar/ Naib Tehsildar
9. Certificate regarding differently abled persons with more than 40% impairment/ disability/ infirmity issued by the Health & Family Welfare authorities/ Medical Boards
10. NSS (atleast one year) certificate/l NCC Certificate/ The Bharat Scout & Guides issued by the Head of concerned Institution or Certificate
11. Certificate of BPL family having annual income (from all sources) below Rs. 40,000/- or as prescribed by the Govt. from time to time, issued by the Block Development Officer (BDO)
12. Certificate of Widow/ divorced/ destitute/ single woman issued by the Block Development Officer (BDO)
13. Certificate of single daughter/ orphan issued by the Block Development Officer (BDO)
14. Certificate of experience upto a maximum of 5 years in Govt./ Semi- Govt. Organization relating to the post applied for, issued by the competent authority

Selection Process for Himachal Pradesh Industries Department Recruitment 2023
1. Selection for appointment to the post shall be made on the basis of merit of prescribed Educational Qualification followed by evaluation of documents certificates
2. Evaluation: The scrutiny/ verification and evaluation of documents/ certificates shall be made by constituting a Committee of the departmental officers. The date of evaluation shall be intimated separately.
