Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and drive proactive media campaigns in support of the business, leaders and key audiences.
• Develop high quality, high impact content and storylines to support engagements aligned to the brand and the communications plan framework. Content includes press releases, press pitches, storylines, and key messages to support engagements.
• Liaise with the external PR agency to drive high impact storytelling, participate in relevant media opportunities and measure results.
• Coordinate with Internal Communications to ensure external messaging and internal employee messaging are aligned.
• Work closely with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure proactive or reactive strategy / response optimizes the company’s interests.
• Regularly engage with key journalists and deepen media relationships.
• Manage measurement metrics and reporting formats, including coverage reports, PR playbooks, and other assets.

Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 8+ years in-house (MNC preferred) and/or agency experience; ideally possessing some high-tech industry experience.
• Strong understanding of the IT services industry.
• Passionate about driving storytelling with the media across sectors.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to think creatively and strategically.
• Proven ability to develop communication plans aligned with business and campaign objectives.
• Must have strong media relations and the ability to work collaboratively with the leadership team and global colleagues.
• Effective organizational skills to manage multiple projects, timelines and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or Marketing degree preferred)

• Anywhere in India
