Appointment to the post of Chairman in Goa State Pollution Control Board.
Applications are invited from interested and eligible candidates for appointment to the posts of the Chairman in Goa Sate Pollution Control Board (GSPCB), Goa
The following are the terms and conditions for the post of Chairman, GSPCB, Goa:
1. Post Name: Chairman
2. Scale of Pay: As per the prevailing Government norms
3. Terms and Conditions: As per the provisions in the Goa Water Rules & Air Rules as amended from time to time including the Goa State Pollution Control Board (Qualification and other terms and conditions of service of the Chairman and Member Secretary) Rules 2016.
4. Eligibility, (a) (i) Master’s Degree in science relating to environment or Bachelor’s Degree in engineering in a discipline relating to environment from a recognized university or institute; Doctorate degree in environmental management and experience from a recognized University or Institution and excellent record of peer reviewed research publications. The age limit for appointment shall be not exceed fifty six years as on the last date for the receipt of applications. This limit will apply for contract appointment and appointment by way of deputation also. (ii) Special knowledge and ten years practical experience relating to the environment protection including industrial pollution mitigation, water treatment or air pollution control devices and has rendered twenty years of service; Or (b) Officer under the State Government/Public Sector Undertaking/University/Autonomous Body /Statutory Body; (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; (ii) Possessing three years of regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the level-13 of Pay Band matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and Possessing experience specified in clause (a) above.
5. Tenure: 3 years from the Date of Appointment
Note
1. Officers working in the Central or State Government or Public Sector Undertaking or recognised University or Government Research Institution or Autonomous or Statutory Body may send their application in
eight (8) sets through proper channel along with up-to-date Annual Confidential Report dossier, Integrity Certificate and vigilance clearance and other documents.
2. In case of such officers the concerned parent ministry / department / organisation forwarding the application should strictly ensure that the applicant officer fulfils the eligibility criteria stipulated for the post as explained above. Any incomplete applications and / or without requisite documents and those which are received after the stipulated date shall not be considered and the same shall be summarily rejected
