Job Description

Cloud Engineer/ Senior Cloud Engineer

• Hands-on experience in creating data warehouse, Data lakes, ETL/ELT, Data pipelines, and reporting/analytic tools and environment
• At-least 1 full life cycle implementation starting from conceptualization, design, architecture to delivery
• Proficiency in at least 1 of theses - AWS, Azure, GCP
• Strong hands-on experience on AWS or Azure (E.g. Amazon Athena, Amazon EMR, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Kinesis, Amazon Elasticsearch      Service, AWS Glue, Quicksight, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Storage,    Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, PowerBI)
• Guide architectural choices using various cloud services and solution methodologies.
• Scripting experience with Python, Unix/Linux Shell scripting, etc.
• Understand existing architecture and develop plans to support the growth in the cloud adoption.
• Must understand networking, security, design principles and best practices in cloud.
• Perform POC's on tools and provide recommendations to solve specific business needs
• Experience in any MPP databases- Redshift, Netezza, Teradata, Snowflake, Exasol would be an added advantage

Primary Skill

• Expertise in Infra capacity sizing, costing of cloud services to drive optimized solution architecture, leading to optimal infra investment vs performance and scaling
• Strong hands-on experience on AWS or Azure (E.g. Amazon Athena, Amazon EMR, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Kinesis, Amazon Elasticsearch      Service, AWS Glue, Quicksight, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Storage,    Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, PowerBI)
• Guide architectural choices using various cloud services and solution methodologies.
• Scripting experience with Python, Unix/Linux Shell scripting, etc.
• Implementing DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, CI/Cd components, and automated deployments
