Qualification Details:

BFSL is one among the pioneers in Indian card market and was the first nonbanking company in India to issue credit cards. The Company’s core business is credit card issuance and consumer lending. It also provides support to Bank of Baroda by carrying out its merchant acquiring operations and its debit cards operation for its overseas territories/ subsidiaries and sponsored RRBs. The company indents to expand in Retail Asset products like Home Loan, Education Loan, Auto Loan, Loan against property and other financial services.

1. Position: Assistant Manager - Analytics

2. Educational Qualifications: Graduate in Economics. Statistics, Engineering or any other Quantitative discipline or Post Graduate/ Professional Degree in Economic, Statistics, Engineering or any other Quantitative Discipline.

3. Minimum Experience: Graduate with 3+ Years of Experience or Post Graduate / Professional Degree with 1+ Years of Experience.

4. Location of posting: Mumbai. The candidate may be deputed to work with the team(s) within the organization / parent organization / any subsidiary of the parent organization if and as deemed necessary. Candidate is liable to be transferred to any other location in India.

5. Job specific skills: Applicants should possess the following attributes:

1. Excellent written and verbal communication.
2. Proficient in SQL, SAS, or R and be comfortable in writing ad hoc queries.
3. Experience in automation of MIS Reports desirable.
4. Strong analytical and logical thinking skills; ability to solve complex business problems.

Maximum Age on the last date of application: 45 Years as on date of receipt of Application.

Role & Responsibilities

Key highlights of the role are listed below (purely indicative and not limiting):This position is responsible managing the day to day functioning of the department. The Role and responsibilities of this position include: 

1. Candidate should be comfortable working in a fast paced business environment with quick turnaround times.

2. Candidate is required to work closely with business and able to deliver on MIS reports and ad hoc analysis.

3. Candidate should have the skill to translate a business problem into data and deliver analytical solutions.

4. Prior experience in MIS reporting and portfolio analytics is a must. Candidate must be able to design & deliver reports and provide business insights to business functions/process owners. Experience in Automation of MIS reports desirable.

5. Knowledge of modelling techniques like Logistic regression, CHAID, Random forests etc. The candidate should be able to develop and maintain models.
