Offline/ through email applications are invited from eligible candidates from across the country for enrolment into the Assam Rifles under the Compassionate Ground Appointment Scheme. The recruitment rally will tentatively be held from 02 May 2022 onwards at Headquarters Directorate General Assam Rifles, Laitkor, Shillong (Meghalaya) NRS - Guwahati (Assam). Firm Date of reporting to attend the recruitment rally will be intimated to the eligible candidates by registered post followed by uploading of necessary details on our official website www.assamrifles.qov.in from time to time. The candidate will be responsible to check the official website for firm date to appear in recruitment rally.

1. Name of the Post: Rifleman General Duty (GD) (for Male and Female both)

2. No of Post: 94

3. Pay Scale: Pay Scale and other allowance will be as admissible to Assam Rifles Personnel.

4. Qualification: 10th class pass from a recognized Board.

1. Name of the Post: Havildar Clerk (for Male and Female both)

2. No of Post: 04

3. Pay Scale: Pay Scale and other allowance will be as admissible to Assam Rifles Personnel.

4. Qualification: 

(a) Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from recognized Board/University or equivalent.

(b) Skill Test Norms on Computer: English typing with minimum speed of 35 words per minute on computer OR Hindi typing with minimum speed of 30 words per minute on computer (Time allowed-10 minutes).

1. Name of the Post: Warrant Officer Radio Mechanic (RM) (Male candidates only)

3. Pay Scale: Pay Scale and other allowance will be as admissible to Assam Rifles Personnel.

4. Qualification: 

(a) 10th from a recognised board with diploma in Radio and Television Technology or Electronics or Telecommunications or Computer or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Domestic appliances from any institution recognised by the Central Government or the State Government. OR

(b) 12th Standard or Intermediate or equivalent with aggregate marks of fifty percent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board or University or Institution.

1. Name of the Post: Havildar Operator Radio & Line (for Male Candidates only)

3. Pay Scale: Pay Scale and other allowance will be as admissible to Assam Rifles Personnel.

4. Qualification: 

(a) 10th from a recognised board and two years Industrial Training Institute in Radio and Television or Electronics from a recognised Institute. OR

(b) 12th class pass or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects of study from a recognised Board or University or Institute.
