Work Description: Candidate will assist the Project Scientist and Associate in field research on ecology and conservation biology on Ganga ecosystem
Project: Establishment of Ganga Aqualife Conservation Monitoring Centre

Selection Procedure:

  • The selection will be made on the basis of written test followed by personal interview
    The written test is of a qualifying nature and the shortlisted candidates only will be called for the personal interview. The final selection of the candidate will be in accordance with the performance in the interview and in order of merit as decided by the Interview Committee.

  • All original documents/certificates must be produced at the time of personal interview for necessary verification. The registration portal will remain open from 4th August to 3rd September, 2017. The date of online written test is 24th September, 2017. The date of personal interview will be notified at our site ( and also through email.

  • The online registration process will be open up to 3 rd September, 2017.
  • All eligible interested candidates are advised to follow the latest updates on the WII’s website ( for online registration, submission of application and payment of application processing fee, etc.
  • Candidates will be required to fill in their personal, educational and professional experience profiles online besides uploading a recent passport size photograph. Candidates will make the payment of application processing fee of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) through the prescribed “Payment Gateway”. Candidates belonging to SC, ST and Physically Challenged category need to pay only Rs. 100/- as communication fees.
  • Candidates must mention the Project name and Position applied for in their applications.
