Qualifying Cutoff Marks are the minimum marks to be scored by the candidates in the WBJEE 2019 exams for them to qualify in the paper.

• Admission Cutoff Marks

Admission Cutoff Marks are the WBJEE marks that are expected by the institution to give admission to students for the courses. This cut off marks varies for different institutes and for different courses.

How are the Marks Calculated for WBJEE 2023?

• Total Marks of WBJEE: 200 marks

• Types of Questions Asked: Multiple Choice Questions

• Total number of Questions Asked: 155 Questions

• Students will have to shade their choice of the answer in the OMR sheet using a black or blue pen.

• For every wrong answer, ¼ mark is deducted from the score for every wrong answer in category 1, and ½ mark is deducted from the score for every wrong answer in category 2, but there is no negative marking for category 3.

• Each question from category 1 carries one mark.

• Each question from category 2 carries two marks and the same is followed for category 3.

• West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board will publish the merit list with the name of the candidates who had qualified in both the papers.

• WBJEEB publishes two types of merit lists namely GMR and PMR. GMR is the general merit rank list and PMR is for the pharmacy merit rank list. GMR is for the B.Arch and B.Tech course whereas PMR is considered for the B.Pharm course.
