Candidates can access the result of WBJEE 2023 in online mode. To check the WBJEE result, the candidates have to login using their application number and password. The total scores secured by the candidates will be present in the result along with individual subject scores, ranks and more. The result has to be kept safe for future use.
WBJEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria
There are certain requirements that the candidates have to meet to be eligible for WBJEE 2023. These conditions and requirements constitute the WBJEE eligibility criteria 2023 released along with the official information brochure. All of the candidates are required to meet the criteria otherwise they might be disqualified from the admission process. Some of the general WBJEE 2023 eligibility criteria are listed below:

Nationality - Candidates should be of Indian nationality.

WBJEE 2023 Age Limit - Should be minimum 17 years old as on December 31, 2021 or should be born on or before December 31, 2004. There is no upper age limit. But for candidates who are applying for Marine Engineering, the upper age limit is 25 years as on December 31, 2021.

Domicile - Candidates should meet the domicile requirements of the state.

Educational Qualifications - It is essential that the candidates should have qualified 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from a board recognized by the Central Government or State Government with Mathematics, Physics and any of the following subjects - Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Computer Application/Technical Vocational Subject as compulsory subjects. The candidates should have also passed these subjects individually.

Required Marks - General category candidates should have secured minimum 45% aggregate marks in 10+2 (or equivalent) examination. For reserved categories, the minimum aggregate mark is 40%. Candidates should have also scored minimum 30% marks in English.

Introduction to WBJEE
WBJEE is a state-level examination conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board. Information on WBJEE Application Form Correction
West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board provides an application form correction facility for the students who had applied for the WBJEE exams. If there is any mistake in the details already submitted in the application form can be modified by the students through online mode. It is to be noted that basic information like the candidate’s name, father name, mother name, date of birth and gender cannot be altered or modified. To make other changes in the details in the application form, students have to log in using the application number and password.
What is WBJEE 2023 Admit Card?
WBJEE Admit Card serves as the entrance hall ticket for the WBJEE Exams. Students should keep the WBJEE admit card safely till all the admission process is completed. Students whose application process is successful will obtain the WBJEE admit card. WBJEE Admit Card has all the details namely candidate’s name, location of the exam centre, gender, photograph and signature. One who does not have the admit card will not be allowed to appear for the WBJEE Exam.
Where are WBJEE Exams Conducted?
WBJEE exams are conducted in various exam centres in the country. Students should provide their preference of exam centres at the time of filling the application form. Changes after registration are not entertained. WBJEE is conducted in 23 states of West Bengal, Silchar (Assam) and Agartala (Tripura). Students who belong to West Bengal, Assam and Tripura should choose their exam centres in these places. Whereas students from other states can provide their choice of exam centres from Kolkata or Howrah or north 24 Parganas or south 24 Parganas.
What is the WBJEE Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme?
WBJEE has two papers namely Mathematics as the paper I and Physics and Chemistry as paper II. Paper, I is conducted in the morning session and Paper II is conducted in the afternoon session. Each paper is for 100 marks and it is an offline examination. Questions are in the form of multiple-choice questions with four choices for each question. WBJEE exam pattern and details are listed below.

- Students will have to shade their answer in the OMR sheet using a black or blue pen.

WBJEE Counselling 2023
Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend WBJEE 2023 counselling, which will be performed entirely online. WBJEE Seat Allotment 2023
WBJEE 2023 seat allotment results will be released in an online format by the authorities. Candidates must log into their accounts to verify their allotment status. The selected candidates must download their allotment letter after testing their status. Person allotment letters will not be mailed. Candidates must report to their allotted institutes for document verification and payment of the requisite fee to validate their allotment. Their allotment will be cancelled if these measures are not taken before the deadline.

WBJEE Exams 2023 Exams 2023 - FAQ
The officials of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) will conduct the WBJEE 2023 Exam.
WBJEE is relatively easier than JEE MAINS. Syllabus of WBJEE is same as JEE MAINS and questions level of JEE MAINS is little bit tougher than WBJEE. WBJEE exam happens in two paper.
Category 1 - Each correct answer will be awarded one mark. Category 2 - For every correct response, two marks will be given by the candidates. Category 2 - For each incorrect answer, ½ mark will be deducted. Category 3 - There is no negative marking.
There is no limit on the number of time a candidate can apply for WBJEE exam.
Rule 1: With Physics and Mathematics as major subjects and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject/ Computer Application/ Computer Science/ Biology/ Biotechnology as the third subject, the aspirants must have passed Class 12th in West Bengal. Only such students qualify for the WBJEE Engineering Stream Examination.
Rule 2: Candidates must have passed Class 12 with at least 45% of the marks. However, 45 percent of the Class 12 minimum mark requirements are only applicable to the General Category. The minimum qualifying marks are 40 percent for reserved categories such as SC/ ST/ PwD/ OBC-A/ OBC-B.
Rule 3: Candidates must have passed Class 12 English with at least 30 percent of the marks.
Applicants who do not meet any of the above-mentioned eligibility criteria are not qualified to take the entrance test.
