VITEEE Counselling 2021 - Schedule Released Soon @ vit.ac.in
New Update 16-02-2021: VITEEE Counselling 2021 - VIT conducts the counselling of VITEEE. Qualifying candidates in VIT Entrance Exam have to appear for counselling. The admission of the candidates will take place based on the JEE Main Scores 2021. VIT will publish the counselling schedule of VITEEE on the official website. Hence, candidates can check it at vit.ac.in. However, the procedure is conducted offline. Therefore, candidates have to report to the College for further process. Seat Allotment will be on the basis of the candidate’s merit and other factors. For more details, keep on reading the article.

VITEEE Counselling 2021 - The VITEEE counselling process will be conducted offline, and only VITEEE qualified candidates will be given the provisional call letter for counselling. The call letter consists of all the important information related to counselling date, time, venue, and registration process. Candidates should note that E-Admit Card, Result copy, and other Documents are mandatory, and they should carry them while appearing for the counselling. First candidates need to register themselves, and after the registration, candidates have to appear for the documents verification at the venue allotted by the admission authority.

What are the Documents to be carried for VITEEE Counselling 2021?
Candidate should produce the following documents in original along with two sets of photocopies while reporting to counselling for Verification:
- VITEEE e-Admit card, Counselling Admit card and VITEEE Result copy.
- Matric Class certificates as a proof of date of birth or any age proof certificate.
- Mark sheet of Qualifying Examination (if available) / XII Hall ticket (For result awaiting candidates).
- Copy of Aadhar Card with self-attested
- Transfer Certificate or School Leaving Certificate
- Category certificate (If applicable)
- Demand Draft of required fee in favour of ‘VIT University’ payable at Vellore.
- Student Profile.
- Undertaking Form.
- Nativity Certificate (For candidates belongs to Jammu and Kashmir and the North-Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura).
- For Hostel Requirement Demand Draft of Rs. 21,200.
VITEEE Application Fees 2021
Candidates also will have to pay the counselling fee of Rs. 5000/- to confirm their seats.
Introduction to VITEEE Counselling
VIT University conducts the VITEEE counselling mostly in May every year. Only VITEEE qualified students are called for the counselling. Students will have to apply for VITEEE counselling and pay the required VITEEE counselling fees to participate in the counselling. Also, there is a certain list of documents that are to be brought by the students at the time of the counselling. With VITEEE counselling, qualified students get an opportunity to grab admission in the Chennai and Vellore campus of VIT University. After the VITEEE Results are published, the activities for the VITEEE counselling is commenced. The counselling takes place in two sessions through offline mode. After completing every round of counselling, University publishes the list in which the vacancy status for every course is published. How to Apply for VITEEE Counselling 2021?
VITEEE Counselling will be held once the results are published. The students should apply for the counselling on the announced dates. The authority will call the students for counselling based on their scores. Follow the below-given steps to complete VITEEE Counselling.
- Registration
Students who are qualified in VITEEE should register for the counselling. Students will have to give the details of their choice of campus and courses in the application. The authorities will call students, and counselling will be scheduled based on their results.
- Document Verification
Students will have to provide all the required documents at the documentation verification counter.
- Allotment
Based on the results, students will be provided admission in the available campuses for the preferred courses.
- Uploading of images
The digital signature, a photograph of the students, is to be uploaded as per the authorities' specifications. Also, the required documents should be uploaded in the student profile.
- Payment of Fees
Students will have to pay the counselling fees in Demand Draft for an amount of Rs. 50000 to confirm the admission. The demand draft should be drawn in favour of “Vellore Institute of Technology” payable at Vellore. An amount of Rs.11800 in the Demand Draft, which is drawn is non-refundable and is adjusted towards counselling fees.
- Hostel registration
Students who require hostel accommodation will have to provide a separate DD of Rs.21000 towards hostel requirement, out of which Rs.1200 is non-refundable.
What are the Documents to be carried for VITEEE Counselling 2021?
Students will have to bring all the required documents for the VITEEE counselling. The documents that are required are listed below.
- VITEEE admit card
- Counselling admit card
- Copy of VITEEE results
- Certificate of 10th and 12th for proof of date of birth or any age certificate
- Mark sheet of qualifying examination or 12th mark sheet of 12th hall ticket if waiting for results
- Aadhar card copy with self-attestation
- Transfer certificate or school leaving certificate
- Category certificate if necessary
- Demand draft of the required amount of fees
- Students profile
- Undertaking form
- Certificate of nativity (For the students who belong to Jammu and Kashmir, northeastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura)
- Demand Draft for hostel requirement of Rs.21000
DD must be drawn in favour of “Vellore Institute of Technology” payable at respective campuses. The students should also write their name and application number at the back of the demand draft for reference.
VITEEE Counselling 2021 To be Started @ vit.ac.in
VITEEE Counselling 2021 - The Vellore Institute of Technology has started the VITEEE Counselling 2021 in May First week of 2021, and rank-wise. After the announcement of entrance exam result, the university will start the counselling session. The counselling will be organised through online mode. All the registered candidates are required to fill their college choices and course within the specified time as per the schedule to participate in VITEEE counselling 2021. After choice filling, seat allotment will be made based on the VIT rank list. Students who will be allotted seats will be required to pay 50% admission fees online within three days to confirm admission and the rest fee can be paid. VITEEE is the common entrance exam in all the participating institutes. Candidates will be called for counselling based on 10+2 or Pre University marks. It must be noted that the candidates will be allowed to participate in the VITEEE 2021 counselling only after verification of documents is completed and official records about identification, age, mark sheets of qualifying examination, and other eligibility criteria of VITEEE 2021 prescribed by the authorities is fulfilled. VITEEE Exam 2021 Counselling 2021 - FAQ
No. The candidates will not be permitted to attend counselling more than once under any circumstances. You have to be on time at your counselling centre with all the required documents.
No change of date/time of counselling is permissible. You will have to report on the assigned date and time.
Candidates can download the acknowledgement for the documents submitted from the VIT website. No written acknowledgement will be issued. All the above mentioned documents shall be handed over to the Admissions Office at the time of admission, failing which the provisional admission accorded will stand cancelled.
