Who is Eligible to fill in the UPES Application Form 2021?

A candidate who is about to fill UPES Application Form must know and check for the authorised body's eligibility criteria. Applying candidates will have to make sure that they meet all the UPES criteria before they fill-up the form.

General Eligibility:

  • Nationality: Indian national/ foreign/ OCI/ PIO category candidates will be eligible to apply for UPES.
  • Age Criteria: He/ she must be born on or after 1st October 1998.
  • Appearing: Candidates appearing in their qualifying exam will also be eligible to apply for UPES 2021.

For B.Tech Course:

  • Qualification: Candidates must qualify for the 12th level examination from any recognized board or university.
  • Mandatory subjects: Applying candidates must have Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) as their mandatory subjects in the qualifying exam.
  • Percentage: He/ she must score at least 60% marks in PCM subject in qualifying exams.
  • JEE Main: Candidates seeking admission for B.Tech. Course through JEE Main must score a minimum of 60% marks.
  • Board merit: For applying through board merit, the candidate must have scored at least 80% marks in PCM subject.

For MBA Course:

  • Qualification: Candidates must qualify for graduation by scoring at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
  • Selection: The candidate will apply through UPES Management Entrance Test (UPES MET) or national-level scores.
  • National level scores: He/ she must have qualified CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ NMAT with required percentile. Candidates will have to score at least a score of 140 to apply through NMAT.

What are the UPES Application Form 2021 fees?

Online mode :

The Application Form fees can be paid through online mode, which is Rs.18500. Candidates can make online gateway payment through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking for paying the Application form fees. It is mandatory for candidates who are filling the form to pay the fees. Only on paying the fees, a candidate's UPES Application form will get successfully submitted. 

Offline mode :

For offline mode, Demand Draft must be drawn in favour of, “University of Petroleum & Energy Studies” payable at Dehradun. DD have to be sent to the following address:
