New Update: TS ECET 2020 Exam Dates - Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University conducts the state level entrance test of TS ECET 2020. Through this Telangana State Engineering, Common Entrance Test (TS ECET) candidates are provided admission into a lateral entry in B.Tech, B.E, B.Pharm, and B.Sc (Mathematics) programmes. To get admission into various affiliated private or government colleges or institutions of Telangana, candidates have to qualify the exam with minimum prescribed qualifying marks. What is the TS ECET 2020 Application fee?
Candidates must pay the Application Fee for TS ECET 2020, after filling the TS ECET Application Form correctly. Candidates can check all the fee details and pay the TS ECET Application fee 2020. Applicants can pay the application fee through debit/credit card/UPI or net banking method. Fees can also be paid through AP or TS online centres.

What is the ELigibility TS ECET 2020 Eligibility Criteria?
Candidates before filling the TS ECET 2020 Application form, must check the eligibility criteria. Candidates check the course wise eligibility to get the admissions and percentage of the particular subject.

Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India. He/she must belong to Telangana or Andhra Pradesh state.

Qualifying Exam: Applying candidates must possess a diploma degree in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy from any recognized Board or University or He/she should have graduated in B.Sc (Mathematics) of 3 years duration from recognized University.

Qualifying Marks: Candidates must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST candidates) in the qualifying exam.

Appearing candidates: Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.

Reservation: 85% of the seats in each programme will be reserved for local candidates and the remaining 15% will be unreserved seats specified in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions.

Exam Date and Mode: TS ECET 2020 Entrance exam will be held on 4th July 2020 through online CBT mode.

Time Duration: The examination will be of total 3 hours.

Language medium: The question paper will be in English only.

Number and Type of Questions: Question paper will consist of a total of 200 objective type questions.

Total Marks: The entrance test will be of a total of 200 marks.

Marking Scheme: +1 mark will be given for every correct answer. No marks will be deducted for wrong responses.

Important Dates 2020 - FAQ
The TS ECET exam conducting authorities generally announce the TS ECET important dates or notifications in the third or last week of January.
Cansidates have to visit the TS ECET official website to check the important dates of the TS ECET 2020 entrance examination. The TS ECET exam notification is also released in the national dailies, from which the candidates get to know about the TS ECET Exam dates.
The counselling dates of TS ECET will be announced by the participating institutes after the declaration of the result. As of now, the counselling process is scheduled to be held in the last week of August 2020.
In the scenario where two TS ECET participating colleges schedule the counselling process on the same date, the candidates can request the college authorities to postpone the counselling date for him/her.
Although the exact date of TS ECET question paper release is not announced officially, the authorities release the question paper after the admission process of a particular session is over.
