Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination Conducts Evry year the TJEE exam to select the Students for Entry in Engineering and other professional degree courses offered by colleges across the state. Applicants need to apply for the Tripura JEE (TJEE) 2020 exam to be eligible for admission in different classes like engineering/technology, agriculture, etc. Before applying the TJEE Exam Students should know the Eligibility Criteria. The access will give to the applicants based on the marks scored by them in the exam. Therefore, they should prepare well for the exam to score good marks. TJEE 2020 Eligibility Overview @tbjee.nic.in

It is vital to meet the eligibility criteria of Tripura JEE to apply for the exam. The detailed eligibility criteria are given below for the candidates to make sure that they are eligible to appear for TJEE 2020.

Citizenship- Candidate appearing for TJEE 2020 must be an Indian National and must be a permanent resident of Tripura. It is mandatory for the candidate or his/her parents to have been residing in Tripura for at least ten consecutive years.
Educational Qualification- Candidate should have passed 10+2 or the equivalent exam with the minimum required qualifying marks to be eligible for TJEE 2020.

Other Applicants:

Candidate of the central and state government employees can also apply for TJEE 2020.
Candidate of the state government employees who have their posting outside Tripura are also eligible to apply.
Candidate of All India Services Officers born in Manipur- Tripura Cadre are also eligible.

TJEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria Detail

Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination has some rules and regulations that wish to get Entry in the Engineering Course. All the students should check the eligibility criteria carefully before applying for TJEE 2020. Check the eligibility criteria for TJEE 2020 mention below.

Nationality: The candidates must be a citizen of India.
Resident: The candidates must be a permanent resident of Tripura, or the candidate’s parents must be residents in Tripura for not less than ten years before applying for TJEE.
Domicile: Permanent Resident of Tripura/parents working or residing in Tripura for ten or more years/children of all India services officers of Manipur-Tripura cadre/children of an employee of state government/children of central govt. An Employee Posted in Tripura for a minimum three years/children of ex-servicemen living in Tripura for a minimum of five years/children of defense personnel staying in Tripura for five years.
Academic Qualification: The Applicants must have passed/appeared/ due to appear in the year of Joint Entrance Exam at Higher Secondary Examination of Tripura Board of Secondary Education / CBSE or equivalent.
Children of All India Services Officers born in Manipur – Tripura cadre and the children of the employees of State Govt. posted outside Tripura are eligible to apply.
In case a candidate is not a permanent resident of Tripura, but his / her parent is an officer on Deputation to the Govt. of Tripura / Officer of Central Govt. Otherwise, working in Tripura and has served in Tripura for more than three years or more and have passed 10+2 from the institution of Tripura, then he/she can appear in the exam.
