TIFR, as Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, is conducting the Graduate School Admissions (GS-2020) on December 08, 2019. The application form for TIFR (Tata Institute of Fundamental Research) GS 2020 has been released online at univ.tifr.res.in/gs2020/. It is a national level test. TIFR GS Eligibility criteria for all subjects are as mentioned below. It may note that Students in the final year of their respective qualifying are also eligible to apply for the TIFR(Tata Institute of Fundamental Research) GS exam. TIFR GS Admission Process 2020

Step 1: Fill the TIFR GS Application Form

Candidates can fill TIFR GS 2020 application form in online mode. After filling the form, Aspirants also need to pay the TIFR GS 2020 application fee online (credit/ debit card) or offline (DD) model.

Step 2: Download TIFR GS Admit Card
Candidates can download their TIFR GS 2020 admit card/ hall ticket from the official website www.tifr.res.in of the institute. It may note that TIFR GS accepts card is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam center.

Step 3: Appear for TIFR GS Exam
Next, students need to appear for TIFR GS 2020 exam at the allotted exam center. The nationwide Science entrance exam is scheduled to conduct in December.

Step 4: Check TIFR GS Result
Once the written conducts, candidates can check their TIFR GS 2020 results on the official website www.tifr.res.in of the institute. The result TIFR would contain details such as a candidate’s qualifying status, marks scored, etc.

Step 5: Appear for TIFR GS Interview Round

However, Part I will be an objective test containing 30 True/ false questions, Part II will be a subjective test containing ten problems. The total duration of the exam will be three hours. Marking scheme 2020:
Part I: Each correct answer in the Entrance exam will award two marks. There will be a negative marking of one mark for each incorrect answer.
Part II: TIFR Official website informs that full marks will be given to correct answers in the exam. Also, partial scores will be given to partially correct answers in the exam.

Physics & Chemistry:
The TIFR institute does not prescribe any set pattern for the TIFR GS Entrance Exam for Physics and Chemistry Subjects. However, the official website www.tifr.res.in. In informs that the papers for both the subjects will contain multiple-choice questions that Applicants need to complete in 3 hours duration. There will be negative marking Consider in the Entrance Exam.

TIFR Application Form 2020

Applicants can apply for TIFR GS 2020 in online mode as per the steps mentions below:

Step 1: Register for TIFR GS 2020

Candidates first need to register themselves on the official website of TIFR. For the same, Applicants need to click on the Apply Online button present under the Application tab. Details that Students need to fill in the TIFR GS registration form include name, email address, date of birth, gender, name of the program for which application needs to be filled, preferred subject, and preferred test center. Once all details supplied, candidates need to click on the Register button. On clicking the button, an activation link will send on the candidate registered email ID. Candidates need to click on that link to access the complete application form.

Step 2: Fill the TIFR GS Application Form 2020

Some of the details that candidates can fill in TIFR GS 2020 application form are:

• Personal information such as name, parent name, date of birth, etc

• Academic information such as name of the institution last attended, subjects studied, marks scored, percentage secured, etc

• A passport size photograph (JPG file of less than 100kb in size)

Note: Candidates are allowed to appear for the TIFR GS entrance exam for multiple subjects if the timings do not clash. However, to give the test for more than one item, candidates need to fill separate application forms. Also, the application fee needs to pay separately.

Step 3: Pay TIFR GS Application Fee

Candidates can pay the TIFR GS 2019 application fee online (credit card/ debit card/ net banking) or offline (DD) model. DD should be drawn on State Bank of India in favor of Tata Institute of Fundamental Research payable at Mumbai and mailed at the below address:

Step 4: Submit TIFR GS Application Form 2020
Candidates can submit their applications by clicking on the Submit button. After submitting the form, candidates can either take a print or save their way as a PDF file on their system. However, note that candidates who have applied in online mode but paid application in an offline mode need to send the DD (by writing their reference code, name, and telephone number on the back) on the address mentioned above in step 1.
Candidates applying in offline mode can send their applications on the address mentioned above in step 1 along with the DD and two passport size photographs (one pasted and another stapled on the form)

TIFR GS Admit Card 2020
