New Update on 25-02-2023: The Presidency University Admission 2023 - Beginning on February 23, 2023, Presidential University 2023 Correction will be used for PUMDET. The PUMDET application form was made available on January 31, 2023. It was made available on January 3rd, 2023 for PUBDET. Exam dates for PUBDET and PUMDET have been released. Admission is determined by the results of national, state, or university-level entrance exams. Those who want to be admitted to different UG and PG courses must go through the university level admissions process at Presidency University. The shortlisted applicants can enrol in a variety of programmes, including management, the arts, and science. In Kolkata, West Bengal, it is a private university.

Presidency University Application Form 2023
Candidates are expected to complete the Presidency University 2023 application form to qualify for the PUBDET 2023 and PUMDET 2023 exams. The mode of operation is only online. In February and the second week of March, WBJEEB will publish the University of the Presidency 2023 application form for UG and PG programmes. From the fourth week of March and the third week of April, the WBJEEB will open the correction window for candidates who wish to make improvements to the application form of the Presidency University 2023 for UG and PG programmes, respectively.

Step 3 - Uploading the documents

The candidates are required to upload the scanned images of a coloured passport sized photograph and signature according to the prescribed specifications.

The photograph uploaded must be recently taken which should match with the candidate’s features.

The photograph background must be very light colour.

Low quality photographs will not be accepted by the board.

Dark or tinted glasses spectacles are not allowed.

The candidates should take multiple printouts of the confirmation page and preserve it till the time of the admission.
Presidency University Admit Card 2023
The admit card of Presidency University 2023 for PUBDET and PUMDET will be issued in the first week of April and the first week of June, respectively. The Admit Card 2023 from the University of the Presidency will be made available on the official WBJEEB website. The Presidency University 2023 admit card will not be given to any applicant via post/courier. Candidates are expected to enter their username and password in the admit card login window to download the Presidency University admit card. Candidates can produce duplicate admit cards but only till the date of the test.

Presidency University Exam Centres 2023
Applicants may check the examination centre of the University of the Presidency 2023 assigned to them on the admission card. Applicants will have the opportunity to select the 2023 Examination Centers of the Presidency University from the options provided while filling out their applications. You are expected to carry the admit card to the Presidency University Exam Centre 2023 along with a valid government photo ID. The entrance exams for PUBDET 2023 and PUMDET 2023 will take place in 16 separate Presidential University 2023 examination centres located in West Bengal. If the number of test-takers is less than 100 in a test centre, the board reserves the right to cancel the examination in that particular centre and allot other exam centres to the candidates.

Presidency University Exam Pattern 2023
The exam pattern of Presidency University 2023 gives the details about the marking scheme, type of questions asked in the entrance exam, duration of examination, marking scheme and total marks. The question paper of PUBDET and PUMDET 2023 will consist of only multiple choice questions. Candidates must also check the marking scheme before appearing for the entrance examination, as it will make them confident and prepared for the day of the examination.

There are times when two or more candidates score equal marks. To resolve such a tie the board has tie-breaking criteria -

The candidates scoring less negative marks are ranked higher.

If the tie still persists, the candidates are awarded the same rank and are considered for counselling and admission with a bunching effect.
Presidency University Admission 2023 Procedure
The Admission Procedure of Presidency University will contain various steps like submission of the application form, appearing for the entrance test, qualifying the entrance test, the publication of score/ rank list, and appearing for the Presidency University Counselling process. Students are mandated to obtain qualifying marks in the entrance test to be eligible for Presidency University Admission 2023. The result will be made available in the form of rank cards or scorecards. Students will be shortlisted based on the released result.

At Presidency University we admit students on the basis of merit. Admissions to some courses are based on all-India entrance test scores; for others, we consider the score in the qualifying Exam & Personal interview round.
If the courses opted fall in the same group, then state the choices in one single application form. However, if opting for courses in different program under separate school of discipline, then need to fill out separate applications.

The first year fees are paid as per the schedule shared in the provisional admission letter. Initially the registration amount to be made as per the date given, followed by the next installments amounts to be paid.
