The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, has published the PGIMER Result 2020 on December 9, 2019. Earlier, the authorities supposed to announce the PGIMER result 2020 on December 6, 2019. Candidates who secure PGIMER minimum percentile will be considered qualified. Aspirants belonging to the unreserved category must achieve at least 55th percentile, while SC/ST/OBC students must secure the 50th percentile. Only students who will pass the exam will call for offline PGIMER counseling 2020, which will begin from December 20, 2019, at Bhargava Auditorium.

- The PGIMER authority will declare the result for MD/MS on 9th December 2019 (January session).
- For the DM/MCH/MD Hospital Administration theory entrance exam, the result will declare on 23rd December 2019 (January Session).

PGIMER 2020-Inter-Se-Merit Regulations
In case two or more Students obtain equal marks resulting in equivalent ranks, the authorities would follow the regulations to assign different levels to those candidates.
- The applicant who would have scored a higher amount of aggregate marks in his/her MBBS examination would receive a higher rank.
- Age of the Student: The candidate who would be older would be given preference over others and assigned a higher rank.
- Minimum Percentile: Students who would score the minimum percentile as per their category would be assigned a higher rank.

Counselling process for PGIMER 2020
- Candidates who will qualify the PGIMER exam by scoring the minimum required percentile will call for PGIMER Counseling 2020. Candidates will call in order of their merit ranks.
- The counseling will conduct in offline mode. Qualify candidates will have to be physically present at the venue at the time of PGIMER counseling.
