Level wise NMAT selection Rounds
The first step in getting into an MBA programme at NMIMS or other NMAT-scoring universities is to take the NMAT Exam 2023. Students will be chosen for the next set of exams after clearing the NMAT 2023 exam. Check out the different exam rounds mentioned below-
- First candidates appear for the NMAT by the GMAC 2023 exam.
- To obtain a shortlist for subsequent exam rounds, students must clear the minimum NMAT 2023 cutoff score.
What’s Next After Cutoff Declaration? NMAT Selection Procedure 2023
According to the NMAT 2023 selection procedure, each institute that accepts NMAT scores will issue the cutoff independently. The NMAT 2023 selection procedure will primarily consist of two parts. The first option is to take the computer-based test. Following that, candidates will be invited to participate in group discussions, personal interviews, writing ability tests, and case discussion rounds.
If you plan to apply for admission and must pass these rounds, you should be aware of the things you should not do during the GD-PI rounds in order to improve your chances of being selected. The following parameters will be used in the NMAT 2023 selection procedure.
- Group Discussion (GD) and Case Discussion (CD) - For the GD round, candidates will be grouped into seven to ten groups, each with seven to ten individuals. Each group has its own conversation topic. As a result, participating institutes conduct Case Discussion (CD) instead of GD. A structured discussion of any topic will be offered in Case Discussion. Candidates must complete a few fast entries in the time allotted.
- Personal Interview (PI) - After the conclusion of the Group Discussion (GD) round, the participating institutes will conduct a Personal Interview (PI) round.
- Written Ability Test (WAT) - Along with GD and PI, several of the participating institutes will conduct Written Ability Test (WAT) rounds. The primary goal of a WAT round is to assess a candidate's writing and communication skills.
