Who is Eligible for NIOS Registration 2023?
NIOS 10th Registration Eligibility Criteria

Should be 14 years of age as of January 31, 2021.

Candidates whose DOB is after January 31, 2006, are not eligible.

A student who has passed class 8 with valid proof of age can apply.

Candidates who have completed their secondary schooling can also apply.
NIOS Class 12 Registration Eligibility Criteria

By DOB, He/She should be 15 years of age as of January 31, 2021.

What is Stream-wise NIOS Registration 2023?
NIOS will be accepting online registrations under 4 streams. Candidates can fill the registration form for any of their preferred streams as per their eligibility. The detail for the streams are enlisted below:
NIOS Stream 1 Registration
- This is open for all learners-secondary and senior secondary courses.
- Steam 1 students are allotted with an accredited institute (study centre) to guide them for studying.
NIOS Stream 2 Registration
- This is for those students who have passed the 10th class exams from a recognized board but wish to take up the exam for one subject or up to 4 subjects for upgrading their qualification.
- Such students have to upload their failed Marksheet/Admit Card (Hall Ticket) with relevant documents.
NIOS Stream 3 Registration

This stream is for class 10th students who have passed the secondary exam from a recognised board who wishes to appear for one subject or up to 4 subjects for improving their score.
