The National Institute of Design has released the application form of NID DAT on October 5, 2021, in online mode. Eligible candidates can fill the NID DAT registration form 2023 by providing the required information and documents within the stipulated time. NID DAT M.Des Exam Pattern 2023

The National Institute of Design prescribed the exam pattern of NID DAT which includes all the parameters of the entrance test. NID DAT 2023 is a two-tyred entrance test which includes prelims and mains exam. NID DAT M.Des Exam Pattern For Prelims

According to the NID DAT M.Des exam pattern 2023, prelims exam will be conducted in 2.5 hours comprising 100 marks. The question booklet of NID DAT M.Des 2023 prelims exam consists of both objective as well as subjective questions.

Candidates who applied for two disciplines in the M.Des programme, have to appear in DAT Prelims consisting of the CDAT [Common Design Aptitude Test] and Two discipline-specific tests. The total duration of DAT Prelims was 4.5 hrs. (30 minutes for CDAT and 2 hrs. each for discipline-specific tests).

NID DAT M.Des Exam Pattern 2023 For Mains

Based on the score obtained from the prelims exam, students will be shortlisted for the mains exam. According to the exam pattern of NID DAT M.Des 2023, the mains exam of NID DAT consists of two parts.

Studio Test - Students will have 3 hours to complete the studio test which consists of a maximum 100 marks. The medium of the question is English.

Interview - For each discipline there will be a separate interview that will be conducted after the studio test. It will be held at the same NID DAT M.Des exam centre as that of the studio test.
