New Update: NID Admission 2021 - The NID Admission 2021 Application form has been available at the official website, at nid.edu by the National Institute of Design (NID). it offers admission to the courses like B.Des, GDPD, M.Des, Ph.D. Last Date for submitting online application is: 4 pm on Sunday, 07 February 2021. The entrance tests are conducted annually. The tests are conducted at the national level. NID conducts the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) – Prelims and Mains for the admission into B.Des / GDPD and M.Des courses. For Ph.D, the NID Admission 2021 is based according to eligibility / research proposal, DRT and Interview. The candidates who qualify all the stages are granted admission in NIDs located at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Gandhinagar as per availability of course. NID Admission 2020-2021 - The officials of the National Institute of Design conduct the NID Admission 2020-2021 for various courses namely B.Des, M.Des and Ph.D in Design. The final results of NID Admission 2020-2021 for the M.Des course have been released recently by the conducting authorities. Admission 2021 - FAQ
National Institute of Design has not released the admission notification for NID DAT 2021. However, NID Entrance Exam 2021 is expected to be conducted in the month of February, and application forms for the exam will be released by January/ February 2021.
Candidates can apply for NID DAT on the official website of the National Institute of Design (NID). On the official website of the design school, aspirants need to fill in all their details, upload documents, pay the application fee and submit the application form for NID admission.
No, the application form for NID DAT can be filled online only. NID officials will not accept any hard copy of the application form for NID DAT 2021. All aspirants need to fill the application form for NID Entrance Exam 2021 online on the official website of the design entrance exam.
Candidates are informed that the cutoff for NID admissions varies from course to course. The minimum qualifying marks for NID DAT admissions is as mentioned below: Open: 65 EWS:65 OBC-NCL: 55 SC: 45 ST: 45 PwD: 45 Overseas: 65 Aspirants can go through NID DAT 2021 cutoff here.
In order to secure admission in NID, candidates need to take the NID entrance exam. The admission process of NID is such that candidates need to take two tests – NID DAT Prelims and NID DAT Mains. Candidates who clear NID DAT Prelims are only allowed to appear for NID DAT Mains.
