NEST Application Form 2021 Available from 24 Feb

New Update on 24-02-2021: NEST Application Form 2021 - The application form for NEST 2021 will be published on 24 February 2021. The NISER, Bhubaneswar and UM-DAE-CEBS are organizing this examination. The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a national level test that is performed once a year. NEST Application Form 2021

NEST Application Form 2021 - The NISER Bhubaneswar along with UMDAE-CBS will likely release the NEST Application Form 2021 in the month of February, in online mode. Candidates who wish to take admission to programmes offered by these institutes, and submit the NEST 2021 before the last date. The NEST Application Form 2021 Date of Examination for NEST 2021 is the 14th of June 2021. Once the registration process is finished, they need to enter the required academic and personal details in the application form of NEST 2021 and upload the requisite scanned documents. The application correction window of NEST 2021 will be available from the second week of June. How to fill NEST Application Form 2021

On February 24, the NEST Application Form 2021 was issued. Candidates are expected to fill in their active mobile number and email address when filling in the NEST Application Form 2021, as more university correspondence on the same contact information will be made. The following are the steps that an applicant must take to successfully complete and apply for the NEST Application Form 2021.

Step 1 - Registration

  • Visit the official website of NEST.

  • Candidates now need to click on the “ Online Application ” tab.

  • The registration form will appear on the screen.

  • Enter the following information required in the application form.

Details required in the NEST registration form

  1. Date of Birth

  2. Name of the applicant

  3. Class 10 Roll Number/Seat Number

  4. Mobile Number

  5. Email ID

  6. Gender

  • Candidates need to click on ‘Register’ after entering all the asked details.

  • The user ID and password will be sent to the candidates on their registered mobile number

  • An email will be sent to the candidates carrying the link for login page and login credentials.

Step 2 - Login

  • Click on the link provided on the mobile number and email address.

  • A candidate login page will appear on the screen.

  • Enter the user ID and password received through the email or SMS.

  • Click on “log in”

Step 3 - Personal Details and Educational Qualification

Personal information like date of birth, roll number, name of the candidate, registration number, mobile number and email ID will be pre-filled in the registration form.

  • No editing will be allowed in the personal details.

In case of any wrong details filled in the application form, candidates can write to [email protected] or call 022-61306277 with a user ID, registration number and applicant’s name.

  • Exam City preference

Candidates will now choose the preferences of the testing centre for the entrance test. An applicant from the available list can choose a maximum of five examination centres. They need to click on 'Save and Next' after selecting the preferences after saving the choices and preferences.

  • Educational Qualification

In the application form, enter the learning information relevant to the academic context requested. The percentage of marks in the NEST application form need not be filled out by those applicants who are appearing for the final year test or waiting for the result.

Step 4 - Upload Photograph and signature

  • Candidates now need to click on the “click here to upload” to upload the scanned image and photograph.

  • Upload the required documents such as a scanned copy of photograph and signature in the required specifications.

  • The photograph must necessarily have a white background and should not be more than six months old from the date of application.

Step 5 - Application Fee Payment

  • Candidates now need to pay the application fee either by using a credit card, debit card or net banking, once they are done with filling all the details asked in the application form.

  • Candidates will be directed to a declaration page once the payment is processed. Further, they need to click on the ‘I Agree’ tab.

NEST Eligibility Criteria 2021

Applicants are recommended to review the NEST 2021 eligibility requirements before submitting an application form for entry. The 2021 eligibility criteria for the NEST are the minimum academic qualification and other conditions needed to be qualified to apply for admission to programs offered by the two institutes, NISER Bhubaneswar and UM-DAE CEBS. Before applying for admissions, candidates must take into account the following eligibility criteria for NEST 2021.

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 exams from an accredited university with a minimum of 60 per cent marks.

  • For applicants belonging to the group SC/ST/Divyangjan, the minimum percentage of marks needed will be relaxed by 5 per cent.

  • There will be 5 years of age relaxation for members belonging to the SC/ST group. On or after August 1, 2001, the candidates belonging to the General/OBC must be born.

NEST Exam Centres 2021

Before filling out the application form to make their preferences, candidates should search the list of NEST 2021 exam centres. They will be given the option of choosing a maximum of five NEST 2021 examination centres of their choice. On the admission card released before the test, the allocated NEST Examination Center 2021 will be identified. A total of 92 separate NEST 2021 exam centres will be located in different cities across the country.

NEST Admit Card 2021

The NEST 2021 entrance test will be held on June 14, 2021. The NEST 2021 Admit Card will be issued on May 20. The 2021 NEST admit card will be available on the official NEST website. Applicants must know their ID and password used to obtain the NEST 2021 admit card. Candidates must verify the information listed in the NEST admit card, such as the name of the applicant, date of examination, time of examination, application number, roll number and address of the test centre. They are expected to bring the NEST 2021 admit card along with a valid photo ID on the day of the exam.

4. If I am unable to upload my passport size photograph in the NEST application form 2021. What can I do?  

Candidates must check if they are following the basic requirements laid down for uploading the documents by the conducting body of NEST 2021. The size of an image must not be more than 80 kb and the image must also be either in .jpeg or jpg format.

5. Can I request for a change in the exam centre of NEST 2021?  

The applicants can not apply for the change of NEST 2021 exam centre. The exam centre once allotted in the admit card of NEST 2021 cannot be changed.
