NERIST Entrance Exam 2020

The NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) is going conduct by North Eastern Regional Institutes of science and Technology (NERIST). NERIST is an Entrance Exam for admissions in various courses in B.Tech. NERIST Entrance Exam is going to conduct in different centers in the State of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura, and Sikkim. It has three different levels NEE-I, NEE-II, and NEE-III for various modules. Admissions based on the Merit-based list. NERIST Entrance Exam 2020

NEE application forms available from January 11 till March 25, 2020. Candidates can register in NERIST 2020, and registered candidates can get the Admit Card 2020 on April 8, 2020, onwards. And NEE Results will be announced on May 14, 2020.  NEE- I exam held on April 21 as while NEE II and NEE III held in 20.

NERIST Eligibility 2020

  • Candidates who are going to write NEE must have to know the eligibility criteria. Candidates in the General category do not exceed more than 23 years as on July 31, 2020. For OBC Candidates 26 years, they were born on after August 1, 1995. And for ST/SC/PD Candidates 28 years born after August 1, 1989.

  • Candidates must pass 10+2 with Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics/Biology as main subjects. 

  •  Candidates who are searching an entry through NEE (Vocational) exam, must pass 10+2 (Vocational) / ITI / NERIST Certificate in any one of the branches- Agricultural Engineering, Farm Equipment, Food Processing (FP), Civil Engineering] Construction Technology, Electrical Engineering Electrical Technology or Electrical Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Technology (AT) and Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Electronics and Communications Engineering] Electronics Technology or Electronics Maintenance.

NERIST 2020 Admit Card 

NERIST admit cards released online. NERIST Admit card contains crucial information about the exam. In Admit Card, candidates must check their exam venue, date, and time along with the candidate’s name and roll number. Candidates notify the Availability of Admit Card and are updated on our website to download the Admit Card easily. It is mandatory to carry the NERIST admit card along with other documents to the NERIST exam center. Without Admit Card candidates are not allowed to appear for the written exam. 

NERIST Result 2020

On May 14, 2020, the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology has released NERIST NEE results. The results are made available online on the official website of the institute in pdf format. NERIST NEE 2019 conducted three modules NEE-I, NEE-II, and NEE-III for admission to the certificate, diploma, and degree courses of engineering and technology, respectively. NEE 2019 results comprise the list of candidates who have qualified the written test and further called for the counseling process.

NERIST Exam Pattern 2020

One Single Paper of 150 Marks and a time duration is three hours for NERIST. NEE consists of three or four sections like NEE(PCM) NEE ( Vocational), NEE (PEB).

NEE (PCM): Candidates searching admission in Diploma Module of Technology Stream, Chemistry and Mathematics, can attempt the question from Physics. 

NEE (Vocational):  for Diploma Module of Technology Stream, with minimum qualification of 10+2 (Vocational)/ITI/NERIST Certificate, shall attempt NEE (Vocational). 

NEE (PCB): For four years Degree program in Forestry with a minimum qualification of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects, shall attempt NEE (PCB). 

NERIST Counselling 2020

NERIST Counselling process begins in July. Qualified candidates can get uploaded on the website.

  • Candidates must attend the counseling process to get admission and complete the process.

  • Candidates must take all the original certificates at the time of certificate verification process. 

  • Candidates select the college and course as per the availability of the seats. 

Documents to be produced at the time of verification:

  • 10th and 12th class passing certificate/mark sheet.

  • Diploma certificate

  • Migration certificate

  • SC/ST/OB/PD certificate

  • Medical fitness/residency certificate

  • Three passport size photographs

  • Parent’s income certificates

  • Affidavit
