NEET UG Exam 2020 - MopUP Round Result Released

New Update: NEET UG Exam 2020 - Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the result of counselling of NEET-UG mop-up round on December 17, 2020. Applicants can check their result by visiting the official website of MCC; mcc.nic.in. MCC started the counselling for the NEET UG mop-up round on December 10, 2020, to fill up any seats left in previous rounds. The registration for the same was conducted till December 14, 2020, while the fee window opened on December 11, 2020.  Following the declaration of result, candidates will be required to report to the allotted college and finish the admission formalities between December 18-26, 2020. There are 3 rounds in NEET UG counselling including the mop-up round. The result of round 1 of NEET counselling was declared on November 6, and the reporting window was opened till November 14. On the other hand, the result of round 2 was declared on November 30.

Past Update: 

NTA  has postponed both JEE Main 2020 and NEET UG 2020 till May end as per the request of HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhariyal. Application correction extended by the agency, candidates can change their examination centres as per their choice through the correction window. Due to the pandemic outbreak many of the students have moved out of their places of residence. Students prefer appearing for their exam in the city where they go for coaching rather than their hometowns. NTA has opened the option for students to change their exam centres as well. How to Change Centers?

  • Visit the official website of NTA

  • Look for the option of NEET or JEE Main

  • Choose the exam of your choice and click on it

  • Go to the link that reads center change facility and read the complete notification

  • Go the application correction window that reopened

  • Go to the center slot in the form and change it

  • Save the form way move out of the website

The candidates must note that this application correction facility and the center change facility used only till April 14, 2020, after which no changes shall entertain.

Who are Eligible to attend NEET 2020?

Students who wish to appear for NEET 2020 exams will have to satisfy all the eligibility criteria laid by the NTA authorities. NEET 2020 eligibility criteria is related to the age limit, educational qualification, pass percentage and nationality. NEET 2020 eligibility criteria is based on the regulations of Graduate Medical Education 1997 Act. Here is the list of NEET 2020 Eligibility Criteria which the students who should satisfy.

  • All Indian Nationals, NRI, PIO, OCI and foreign nationals are eligible to appear for the exams.

  • All students who are 17 years and more can apply for the NEET 2020 exams. There is no upper age limit for NEET 2020.

  • Candidates must have completed 12th class or equivalent exams with major subjects as Biology, Physics, Chemistry and should have scored atleast 50% aggregate in every subject.

  • In case of OBC/SC/ST category students, the candidates should score atleast 40% aggregate and PwD students should score 45% aggregate.

  • NEET 2020 exams can be attempted any number of times.

How to Apply for NEET 2020 UG Exam?

Students can apply for NEET 2020 exams through online mode. With filling in certain details, students will be able to register for the NEET 2020 exams. Follow the below given steps to apply for NEET 2020 exams.

  • Payment of application fees

Students should pay the NEET application fees before given dates. Payment can be made through online net banking or using debit or credit cards or through UPI payment. NEET registration fees is Rs.1500 plus taxes for general category students and for OBC category students it is Rs. 1400 plus taxes. The fees is Rs.800 plus taxes in case of SC/ ST/ PwD/ Transgender category.

  • Print out of confirmation page

Once all the details are filled, it should be submitted. The confirmation page will be displayed and it should be taken a print out for future purposes.

What is NEET 2020 Admit Card?

NEET 2020 Admit Card can be downloaded from 27th March of 2020 through online mode. NEET 2020 Admit Card will be available in the official page of NEET 2020. To download NEET 2020 Admit Card, one needs the NEET application number and password. Follow the below given steps to download the NEET 2020 Admit Card.

  • Open the NEET official website.

  • Enter the NEET application number and password.

  • NEET 2020 Admit card will be displayed and candidates should check all the details.

  • Candidates can download the NEET 2020 Admit Card and take a print out of the same.

  • If there is any mistake in the NEET 2020 Admit Card, then it should be immediately communicated to the authorities through email to [email protected]
