New Update: NEET PG 2021 Eligibility - Medical graduates who wish to pursue their postgraduate courses in medicine are required to fulfil NNEET PG 2021 Eligibility in order to get admission.  NEET PG 2021 will be held on April 18. NEET PG 2021 Eligibility - Foreign Medical Graduates

NBE has declared the below-mentioned NEET PG 2021 eligibility criteria for those Indian citizens or Overseas citizens who have pursued their Primary Medical Qualifications from Medical colleges that are outside India territory.

  • The Foreign Medical Graduates must qualify for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) (Screening Test).

  • Foreign Nationals must get themselves registered with MCI/SMC

  • According to the eligibility criteria of NEET PG, candidates must complete their internship complying to the guidelines set for all in common

  • On the day of conduction of NEET PG 2021, FMG candidates are required to bring along their FMGE Pass certificate issued by NBE


NEET PG 2021 Eligibility - Foreign Nationals

Foreign nationals have to fulfil the below-mentioned NEET PG 2021 eligibility criteria if they wish to appear for the entrance examination

  • Since the year 2019, it is no more mandatory for Foreign Nationals to be registered with MCI while writing NEET PG 2021

  • The MCI is authorised to provide temporary registration to candidates. This is in cases where they pay the registration fee. Candidates must note that as per the eligibility criteria of NEET PG, the validity of this registration will be provided only for the PostGraduate course duration. Also, this registration will be limited to the medical college/institution in which the candidate has taken admission exclusively for the pursuance of postgraduate studies

  • Foreign Nationals have to be mandatorily registered with the competent registering authority of their country in order to get temporary registration

NEET PG 2021 Eligibility - Overall

  • Educational Qualification - Candidates are required to possess an MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognised by the Indian Medical Council Act 1956

  • Certificate of Registration - Candidates must have MBBS qualification registration (permanent/provisional). This registration is supposed to be issued by MCI or State Medical Council (SMC) or Medical Council of India (MCI)

  • Internship - As per the eligibility criteria of NEET PG candidate must complete their one year internship on or before March 31, 2021

In order to avoid cancellation of candidature, medical graduates are required to know some other criteria also apart from eligibility. These are as follows:

  • Those medical graduates who are found to be ineligible at any stage of the entrance exam or NEET PG counselling 2021 will get their candidature cancelled then and there. If the candidate’s ineligibility comes to the notice of the authorities after the selection of candidates the result of such candidate shall be cancelled

  • The one year internship must be completed in the stipulated time as request for extension in time period will not be entertained by the authorities under any circumstances

  • Medical graduates are not allowed to submit NEET PG application form 2021 multiple times for the given year

  1. Qualification Details - Medical graduates are required to possess Indian Medical Council Act 1956 recognized MBBS degree/ Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate.
  2. Certificate of Registration - Applicants are required to mandatorily have permanent or provisional registration certificates of MBBS qualification, which is to be issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI)/ State Medical Council (SMC).
  3. Internship - As per the eligibility criteria of NEET PG 2020 Applicant must complete their one-year Internship course on or before March 31, 2020

Eligibility-All India Quota 50% Seats (NEET PG 2020)

Mentioned-below are the criteria that have to be fulfilled by Students to be eligible for All India Quota 50% seats.

  1. Under NEET PG 2020 eligibility, medical graduates belonging from the state of Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for All India Quota 50% seats.
  2. Applicants from Jammu&Kashmir who have been nominated by the Government of India, under central pool seats, for pursuing MBBS from medical colleges in Jammu & Kashmir will qualify for All India Quota 50% seats. These applicants have to submit a duly signed affidavit, which declares that the Government of India has nominated them under the category mentioned above. This affidavit has to be sent to the following address along with a printout of acknowledgment of NEET PG 2020 application form latest by November 30, 2019, to fulfill the eligibility criteria of NEET PG.

Foreign Medical Graduates Eligibility for NEET PG 2020

Foreign nationals have to fulfill the below-mentioned NEET PG 2020 eligibility if they want to appear for the entrance examination.

  • Since the year 2019, it is no more mandatory for Foreign Nationals to be registered with MCI while writing NEET-PG 2020.
  • MCI nay provides temporary registration to applicants, in case they pay the registration fee. According to eligibility criteria of NEET PG, this registration will be provided only for the PostGraduate course duration and will be limited to the medical college/institution in which the candidate has taken admission exclusively for the pursuance of postgraduate studies
  • For temporary registration, the Foreign Nationals must be registered with the competent registering authority of their country.
