NEET Counselling 2021 Admission Extended till Feb 11

New Update: NEET Counselling 2021 -  NEET Counselling 2021 dates have been extended by another week. The NEET Counselling 2021 admission to MBBS courses will continue until February 11, 2021, as per the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The MCC shared that a lot of NEET Counselling 2021 seats are vacant in various deemed institutes across the country. A total of 5 seats are vacant across five All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). NEET 2020 Counselling - MCC has completed the NEET 2020 Counselling for 15% All India Quota seats, deemed/central universities. In the latest update, MCC has released the notice that the academic session 2020-21 for MBBS/BDS course will commence from February 2, 2021. NEET Counselling 2020 -  MCC has released the provisional Result for the Mop Up Round of NEET-UG 2020 Counselling, which can be checked from below. Authorities will release the final NEET counselling result for mop round on mcc.nic.in. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on 07th November 2020 extended the last date for shortlisted candidates within the first round of NEET Counselling 2020 for reporting at colleges. A notification during this regard has been uploaded on the committee’s official website. Consistent with the notice, candidates can now report at institutions up to November 14, 2020. Earlier, the last date for reporting was November 12, 2020. The MCC schedule for NEET-UG 2020 counselling, on November 2, was the last date of registration and choice filling for Round 1 counselling. Round 1 Result to be released on 5th November 2020, MCC will initiate NEET Counselling 2020 and seat allocation for MBBS / BDS seats under 15 per cent shortly after the declaration of result. MCC has commenced the NEET Counselling 2020 registration for admissions to the All India Quota seats at mcc.nic.in. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has released a notice regarding the change in Nationality from Indian to NRI ahead of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- NEET-UG Counselling for 15% All India Quota seats. According to the schedule, registration, payment, and selection filling for the primary round of NEET Counselling 2020 will be conducted from October 27 to November 2, 2020. NEET Counselling 2020 And Seat Allotment Process

The NEET Counselling 2020 Exam Conduct by the DGHS(Directorate General of Health Sciences) on behalf of the MCC(Medical Counselling Committee). However, NEET State level counselling for 85% of seats will be performed separately by the respective state authorities. Candidates appearing for NEET 2020 and clearing NEET 2020 Cut Off required by the individual colleges can apply for admission in that college through counselling. 

  • NEET Counselling 2020 for 15% All India Quota(AIQ) seats will be administrated by the Medical Counselling Committee of the DGHS(Directorate General of Health Services). Seats will be allotted to the NEET applicants as per their merit, category, and availability of seats in colleges. 
  • NEET Admission seats left vacant in the AIQ(All India Quota) of Deemed/Central Universities, ECIC colleges will be filled in the NEET mop-up round of Counselling 2020. NEET Counselling 2020 Eligibility

Students who qualify for the NEET(National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) will be eligible to apply for counselling. Applicants who will obtain a minimum of 50%(40% percentile for SC/ ST/ OBC and 45th percentile for general-physically handicapped) in NEET Exam 2020 will be considered qualified. Details about All India Quota(AIQ) Counselling Process

  • The DGHS(Directorate General of Health Services), Government of India, holds the Counselling for 15% AIQ(All India Quota) Seats.
  • All deemed, central, and state universities will participate in online NEET Counselling 2020.
  • Seats of ESIC and AFMC, BHU & AMU will also be filled in this AIQ counselling.
  • The student will apply for 15% All India Quota(AIQ) seats as per the directions of DGHS, and seats left vacant after two rounds of Counselling will adjust in the mop-up round.
  • Applicants who take part in All India Counselling can also participate in State Counselling of their respective states.

 State Quota NEET Counselling 2020 Process

  • For State quota(85%) and other seats falling under States' ambit, students may apply to their domicile states, a NEET 2020 merit list as per State rules, and concerned Authorities will prepare all India Rank(AIR).  
  • The concerned State Counselling Authority will also conduct the counselling for Private Medical Colleges.
  • Aspirants need to register on their concerned state’s counselling websites.
  • NEET Counselling 2020 will be conducted based on the candidate’s rank in the state merit list.
  • Admission to colleges in Jammu and Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana will be made solely based on state Quota counselling.

What are the Steps wise procedures For NEET Counselling 2020?

  • MCI conducts the counselling to fill 15% AIQ Seats in two rounds, followed by a mop-up. The steps involved in NEET Counselling 2020 Registration mentioned below.
  • Go to the official site of MCC and click on New Registration.
  • Candidate should Enter the Roll Number, Application Number, Candidate name, Mother Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Email ID, and Security Pin as per your NEET 2020 admit card. After entering all the information, a new Roll No. and Password will be generated. Use these credentials to register for NEET Counselling 2020.
  • Log on to the MCC site and click on Candidate login.
  • And Enter your Roll Number and Password.
  • St will redirect to a new page where you will have to enter details like Name, Roll No., Registration No., Mother’s Name, Contact No. 
  • After the process, you will be shown all your details as per the NTA database. Verify the information and click on Confirm Registration. NEET Counselling 2020 Registration Slip will be generated. Candidates are advised to save this page.

NEET Counselling 2020 Fee 

  • After successful NEET Counselling registration, students can submit a refundable and non-refundable NEET Counselling 2020 fee. The Counselling fee can pay through an online medium like Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. 

Exercising Option Entry and Seat Locking

  • Candidate can Choice of Locking facility is available for a specific time period on a given day.
  • In this step, students are required to submit preferences. It would help if you filled the choices keeping in mind your scores as admission is granted based on merit like NEET 2020 score and preferences submitted during the counselling process.
  • And can view the list of colleges on the screen.
  • Post filling the list choices, students can arrange them according to their preference by moving them interchange choices & delete choices.
  • Once you’re done, enter your password and click on ‘Lock Choices.’
  • Applicants are not allowed to make any changes after locking their choices, so you need to be very careful in your selection.
  • After locking, they can take a copy of the locked choices, including locking date and time, IP Address of computer, and system-generated Unique no.

  • MCC announces seat allotment result after each round of counselling. It is released in the form of a list followed by seat allotment letters to the selected candidates. Students must report to the allotted colleges with the allotment letter and other documents to finish the admission process. NEET Counselliong 2020 will be conducted entirely in online mode. Candidates willing to participate in the AIQ NEET counselling will be required to register online.
 

3. Who will participate in NEET Counselling 2021?

Only those students who have qualified NEET 2020 with the minimum required percentile will be eligible to participate counselling of NEET 2020. 

4. What is the NEET Counselling 2021 Procedure?

DGHS has been entrusted to conducting NEET 2020 counselling for 15% seats of the total intake from all the government colleges (except for colleges of Jammu and Kashmir state) for AIQ candidates.

5. When will release the NEET Counselling Result 2021?

NEET counselling Result 2021 will release in the form of a seat allotment list.
