NEET 2021 - Exam will be Held on Aug 1

New Updates 30-03-2021: NEET 2021 - Students are curious if NEET UG 2021 would be postponed now that NEET PG 2021 has been postponed. However, there has been no official announcement about the possibility of the NEET UG exam being postponed.  The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NEET 2021 twice a year, a Health Ministry official has agreed to conduct the NEET exam twice a year. Students will be ranked in the NEET 2021 exam based on the best of two scores. NEET 2021 Exam would be conducted on August 1, 2021 (Sunday). NTA has released the official notice on nta.ac.in. The exam will be held in pen and paper mode.

The  Candidates must complete the registration process on or before the NEET 2021 registration last date. Authority will release the NTA NEET 2021 application form in an online mode at ntaneet.nic.in. How to Change Centers For NEET 2021?

The process is given below to download the NEET 2021; candidates follow the instructions and get it easily.

  • Visit the official website of NTA.
  • Look for the option of NEET or JEE Main.
  • Choose the exam of your choice and click on it.
  • Go to the link that reads centre change facility and read the complete notification.
  • Go to the application correction window that reopened.
  • Go to the centre slot in the form and change it.
  • Save the form way move out of the website.

The candidates must note that this application correction facility and the centre change facility used only till April 14, 2021, after which no changes shall entertain.

What is the Scope of NEET 2021? 

  • The National Testing Agency conducts NEET 2021 UG Exams, and the exams are held once a year. NEET UG Exam is conducted as an entrance exam for students who wish to enter into medical courses. NEET 2021 exam is a national level exam. The duration of the NEET UG Exam is three hours. The registration fees for the NEET UG Exam vary for students of different categories. Some of the highlighted information related to the NEET 2021 UG Exam is provided in the below-given table below.
  • NTA Will conduct the NEET 2021 for admission to MBBS, BDS15% B.V.Sc and AH, and AYUSH courses like BHMS, BAMS, BUMS, BSNS, BYNS. NEET UG qualified students can apply for a 15% All India counselling quota conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) online. MCC will also hold NEET 2021 counselling for admission to all seats in Deemed/Central Universities, ESIC & AFMC institutes. The counselling for 85% of state admissions and private institutes will be organized after that by respective state admission committees based on NEET 2021 Exam scores.

Who are Eligible to attend NEET 2021?

Students who wish to appear for NEET 2021 exams will have to satisfy all the NTA authorities' eligibility criteria. NEET 2021 eligibility criteria are related to the age limit, educational qualification, pass percentage, and nationality. NEET 2021 eligibility criteria are based on the regulations of the Graduate Medical Education 1997 Act. Here is the list of NEET 2021 Eligibility Criteria, which the students should satisfy.

  • All Indian Nationals, NRI, PIO, OCI, and foreign nationals are eligible for the exams.
  • All students who are 17 years and more can apply for the NEET 2021 exams. There is no upper age limit for NEET 2021.
  • Candidates must have completed 12th class, or equivalent exams with significant subjects as Biology, Physics, Chemistry and should have scored at least 50% aggregate in every subject.
  • In OBC/SC/ST category students, the candidates should score at least 40% aggregate, and PwD students should score 45% aggregate.
  • NEET 2021 exams can attempt any number of times.
  • Candidates appearing for their class 12 or equivalent are also eligible to look for the exam.
  • Students with Biology as an additional subject in Class 12 are also eligible.
  • NEET Aspirants who have completed Class 11 and Class 12 from open school are also eligible. Subject to any new guidelines that NTA may announce.

What are the Documents needed to apply for NEET 2021?

  • Candidates photograph with size (10 to 100 Kb) in jpg format. A postcard size picture with a white background with the applicant's name and date printed under the photograph is mandated.
  • Student Signature with file size 3 to 20 Kb in jpg format. The candidate's signature should be in black ink on a white background and must not be in capitals.
  • Candidate Class 10 certificate with a file size between 100 kb to 400 kb.

NEET 2021 Application correction Window

NTA will release the NEET correction window, by the Conducting authority re-opened the application form correction window of NEET 2021, at (ntaneet.nic.in). Applicants to access the NEET 2021 correction window enter the candidate login's application number and password. This being the last chance to edit the NEET application form, candidates were advised to take care of the fields entered, as once submitted, it cannot be changed under any circumstances. Students whose application forms have been successfully accepted by the authority could edit the details through the NEET 2021 application correction window.

How to check the NEET 2021 Answer Key?

  • NEET coaching centres like Aakash, Allen Kota, Resonance, etc., will announce the answer key of NEET Exam 2021 for all paper codes after the exam concludes. NTA will declare the official NEET 2021 answer a few days after the conclusion of the exam. NEET 2021 provisional answer key is released first, where candidates are allowed to raise any complaints to the same on answer key payment of Rs 1000 per question, which is to be paid online, and proof of the claim must also be submitted.   • NEET Answer key 2021 amount will be refunded if the claim is held and full marks awarded for the same. However, it will not be refunded if found to be correct. NTA will release the final NEET 2021 answer key along with the result.
