NEET 2021 Exam Date To be Announced

New Updates: NEET 2021 - The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the NEET 2021 entrance exam once a year. NEET 2021 Exam Date is expected to be announced by 25th January 2021. NTA has postponed both JEE Main 2020 and NEET UG 2020 till May end as per the request of HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhariyal. Application correction extended by the agency; candidates can change their examination centers as per their choice through the correction window. Who are Eligible to attend NEET 2020?

Students who wish to appear for NEET 2020 exams will have to satisfy all the eligibility criteria laid by the NTA authorities. NEET 2020 eligibility criteria are related to the age limit, educational qualification, pass percentage, and nationality. NEET 2020 eligibility criteria are based on the regulations of the Graduate Medical Education 1997 Act. Here is the list of NEET 2020 Eligibility Criteria, which the students who should satisfy.

  • All Indian Nationals, NRI, PIO, OCI, and foreign nationals are eligible to appear for the exams.
  • All students who are 17 years and more can apply for the NEET 2020 exams. There is no upper age limit for NEET 2020.
  • Candidates must have completed 12th class, or equivalent exams with significant subjects as Biology, Physics, Chemistry and should have scored at least 50% aggregate in every subject.
  • In the case of OBC/SC/ST category students, the candidates should score at least 40% aggregate, and PwD students should score 45% aggregate.
  • NEET 2020 exams can attempt any number of times.
  • Candidates appearing for their class 12 or equivalent are also eligible to look for the exam.
  • Students with Biology as an additional subject in Class 12 are also eligible.
  • NEET Aspirants who have completed Class 11 and Class 12 from open school are also eligible. Subject to any new guidelines that may be announced by NTA.

What are the Documents needed to apply for NEET 2020?

  • Candidates photograph with size (10 to 100 Kb) in jpg format. Postcard size picture with a white background with the name of the applicant and date printed under the photograph is mandated.
  • Student Signature with file size 3 to 20 Kb in jpg format. The signature of the candidate should be in black ink on a white background and must not be in capitals.
  • Candidate Class 10 certificate with a file size between 100 kb to 400 kb.

NTA has re-opened the NEET 2020 application form correction window for registered candidates from April 1 to May 3, 2020. Earlier, the authorities enabled the facility of the NEET 2020 Application correction window for candidates on April 1, 2020, to make changes in the application form. This could be accessed by entering login credentials. NTA had released the NEET application form on December 2, 2019, from 4:00 PM in online mode and completed the registration on January 6, 2020. Candidates to fill the NEET application form must follow five steps as detailed below.

NEET 2020 Application correction Window

NTA had extended the NEET correction window 2020 till May 3, 2020. The Conducting authority re-opened the application form correction window of NEET 2020 from April 1, 2020, at (ntaneet.nic.in). Applicants to access the NEET 2020 correction window, enter the application number and password in the candidate login. This being the last chance to edit the NEET application form, candidates were advised to take care of the fields entered, as once submitted, it cannot be changed under any circumstances. Students whose application forms have been successfully accepted by the authority could edit the details through the NEET 2020 application correction window.

Government guidelines prescribe a specific reservation Criteria based on the caste and category of students. NEET 2020 reservation criteria describe the percentage of reservation entitled to each category for the seat allotment in the counselling process.

  • Aspirants must select their NEET exam centers 2020 with utmost care as once allotted, and it cannot be changed. The allotment of test centers of NTA NEET 2020 will do on the first-come-first-serve basis. The name and address of the NEET 2020 exam center will mention in the admit card. NEET test takers must report at the allotted exam centers an hour before their reporting time for biometric and verification.

How to check the NEET 2020 Answer Key?

  • NEET coaching centers like Aakash, Allen Kota, Resonance, etc. will announce the answer key of NEET Exam 2020 for all paper codes after the exam concludes. NTA will declare the official NEET 2020 answer a few days after the conclusion of the exam. NEET 2020 provisional answer key is released first, where candidates are allowed to raise any complaints to the same on answer key payment of Rs 1000 per question, which is to be paid mode of online, and proof of the claim must also be submitted.
