What is NATA?

NATA stands for National Aptitude Test in Architecture. NATA is a national level undergraduate exam that is conducted by Council of Architecture. All the students who wish to seek admission for 5 year B.Arch programme that is provided through government aided or private institutions must take up NATA exams. NATA exams so far was conducted only once in a year. But now the Council has decided to conduct NATA exams twice a year for providing more benefits to the students. The exams will be conducted in the month of April as well as in the month of July. Students can either appear for one exam or both as per their requirement. For all the students who appear for both the exams, the high score among the two exams will be taken into consideration. From now on, diploma students are considered to be not eligible for appearing for NATA exams. Some of the highlighted information related to NATA 2019 are listed below. Who are Eligible to appear for NATA 2019?

There are certain eligibility criteria framed by the Council of Architecture. Students who satisfy the conditions will be allowed to appear for NATA 2019. The eligibility parameters should be satisfied inorder to take up the exams. Check out the eligibility conditions that are listed below.

  • Age

Students should be at least 17 years of age as on 31st July 2019.

  • Qualifying exam

Students must have completed 10+2 exams to appear for NATA 2019.

  • Qualifying marks

Students who apply for NATA should have scored 50% in maths, physics and chemistry. Also should have 50% in aggregate of these subjects.

How to Apply for NATA 2019? 

Students should apply for NATA 2019 on the provided dates as prescribed by the council. All the students who satisfy the eligibility conditions can apply for NATA on the given dates. Follow the below given steps to easily apply for the exams.

  1. Registration

Candidates should register for NATA 2019 by using their name, mobile number, email id and date of birth. A valid mobile number and email id should be provided to receive all important notifications. And students should create a username and password to login.

  1. Fill the application form

Once the user id is registered, one should fill in all the details namely personal, academic details and should also mention the preference of their exam centre.

  1. Uploading documents

The next step is that students should scan and upload the necessary documents according to the specifications provided in the below given table.

  1. Generation of NATA application number

Recheck all the details and documents uploaded before submitting the NATA application. Once the application form is submitted, students will obtain the application number.

  1. Payment of fees

Application process is come to an end only when the payment of application fees is made. Students can make payment of fees only through online mode using netbanking, debit or credit card. Once the payment is done, the receipt should be taken a print out for any future references. The fees structure of NATA 2019 is provided in the table below.

What is NATA 2019 Admit Card?

Students who are appearing for the July exam session will be able to download their admit card from 26th June 2019. For April session, the NATA admit cards were made available in the official page from 1st April 2019. NATA 2019 Admit Card can be obtained only through online mode. To download the NATA 2019 Admit Card, one will require their NATA application number and date of birth details. NATA 2019 admit card will be downloaded in PDF format. NATA Admit Card serves as the exam entrance hall ticket without which the candidates will not be able to appear for NATA exams. NATA 2019 admit card is a very important document that must be printed out and kept safe even after NATA exams. It is required till all the admission processes are completed. NATA 2019 Admit card contains all the exam related details of the candidate like the name of the candidate, exam date, exam centre and application number. Only successfully registered candidates will obtain the NATA admit card.

NATA 2019 results for the April 2019 exam session is available online in the official page on 3rd May 2019. NATA results is available online in the form of score card with all the qualified marks by the candidates. The subject-wise marks are available in the NATA 2019 results.   • Visit the official webpage of NATA.
  • Click on the tab “Download NATA Score Card 2019”.
  • Enter the candidate user id and password.
  • Enter the captcha code and click “Download” to download the NATA score card.

What is NATA Cut Off Marks?

It is always important that all candidates are aware of the minimum NATA cutoff marks before appearing for the exams. Council of Architecture has prescribed the minimum cutoff marks for both subject wise and the total minimum marks that is to be scored. Information on NATA Counselling

NATA counselling is conducted by the respective authority and this year there are many alterations made to the NATA exams as well as the counselling. Many institutions participate in the NATA counselling 2019. So far, the colleges and institutions had been having their separate counselling for B.Arch courses but from this year, counselling is to be conducted as a national level centralized counselling thus providing many benefits to the students. Students hereafter need not travel to different colleges for admissions thus saving time. Common centralized counselling eliminates the seats going vacant unnecessarily. All the qualified students will be able to apply for NATA counselling.
