MICAT Institute prescribed MICAT 2020 eligibility criteria on September 25, 2019. The MICAT Eligibility consists of specific parameters such as qualifying marks, entrance exams, and age restriction that Students need to meet to sit for the entrance exam. Candidates who are aiming to seek admission at MICA, they should have appeared and have a score in any one of the reviews - CAT, XAT or GMAT. To be eligible to appear in MICAT 2020, candidates have to be graduate in any discipline. The registration for MICAT I 2020 will commence on October 14 and will close on November 25, 2019, at 11:50 PM. MICAT 2020 phase I is scheduled to be held on December 7, 2019. MICAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria @mica.ac.in

The Aspirant applying for MICAT 2020 must meet educational MICAT Eligibility Criteria requirements laid down by the exam conducting authority. The educational MICAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria mentions here:

  • The applicant should have completed his/her bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  • He/ she has completed a minimum of 15 years of education in the format of 10+2+3.
  • The graduation degree in any department will be considered valid
  • Students who are in the final year of their bachelor’s degree can also apply for MICAT 2020
  • Candidate should have the correct score in any one of the following entrance exams, namely CAT, XAT, and GMAT.
  • Foreign Nationals and NRI category Students are qualified if they have a valid foreign passport along with GMAT, XAT, CAT valid scores. They can apply under the foreign nationals category.

Applicants meeting the above mentioned educational qualification are eligible to apply for the MICAT 2020. Students can register themselves for the MICAT 2020 online through the official website. It will be followed by filling up the application form online and payment of the application fee.

Also, MICAT does not provide any seat reservation for candidates from different categories. 

MICAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria detail

To appear for MICAT 2020, applicants have to fulfill the following eligibility. MICAT 2020 eligibility criteria mention all the parameters such as the qualifying marks they need to have scored in their graduation, the entrance exam they need to get through to appear for MICAT.


Qualifying Score:

  • Students must have a bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) system or equivalent examination in any Course, which should be recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  • Applicants who are in the final year of their graduation can also sit for the exam.

Qualifying Entrance Exam:

Aspirants who wish to apply for MICAT, they should have also appeared in at least one of the three exams given below:

Eligibility Criteria for CAT

  • They must have completed his bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
  • General candidates must have obtained an aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA (45% for reserved category) in bachelor’s degree
  • Candidate with any degree other than bachelor’s degree, recognized by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi equivalent to bachelor’s degree is also eligible for CAT

Eligibility Criteria for XAT Exam

  • Student must have completed his or her bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
  • Candidate with any degree other than a bachelor’s degree, which is recognized by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi as equal as a bachelors degree, is also qualifying for XAT
  • Here There is no age limit to apply for XAT.
  • Candidates who are in the final year of their bachelor’s degree can also apply for XAT.

Eligibility Criteria for GMAT Exam

  • They would be above 18 years of age.
  • Applicants who are less than 18 years have to get permission from the parent or legal guardian to appear for the MICAT entrance exam.
  • The applicant can take GMAT only five times a year with a gap of at least 31 days in between the two attempts.
