MHT CET 2021 Application Form - The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra is the conducting body of the MHT CET 2021. The candidates have to apply for the MHT CET 2021 Application Form before the last date in an online mode by visiting the MHT CET official site. The MHT CET 2021 Application Form admission procedure of MHT CET 2021 will tentatively take place in January 2021. The MHCET Form involves the process such as registration, filling up the exam application form, uploading the images and payment of the MAHA MHT CET Application Form fees. The candidates can apply for the online MHCET Form even after the last date by paying a late fee of Rs. 500 up to a given time. The MHT CET exam dates will be released on the official website & the exam will take place in an online mode for admission to B.E/B.Tech courses offered by 342 participating institutes across the state of Maharashtra.

What are the Important Details of the MHT CET 2021 Application Form?

MHT CET Application forms are available for eligible candidates online.

  • The MHT CET registration will be started soon.
  • Students can do only one registration with one email ID and mobile number.
  • The MHT CET application form filling process must be filled without a late fee.
  • Also, the registration for the practice test will start in the first week of April 2021.
  • Students have to upload their passport size scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
  • Aspirants must carefully fill all the details in the application as the correction facility may or may not be issued by the authority later. As per the last year's trend, the application correction facility was not available for corrections.

What are the procedures to fill the MHT CET 2021 Application Form?

MHT CET Application Form can fill by visiting the online application portal. MHT CET Application Form will be available soon. 

Registration

  • Visit the official site of MHT CET. 
  • Click on the Registration Link provided on the page.
  • Click on new user and enter the details like email ID, phone number, password, etc.
  • Candidates will get a unique user id and password on the registered email id or contact number.

Filling Online Application Form

  • Candidates to Fill the MH CET Application Form and provide your personal information, contact information, and academic details carefully before submitting them.
  • Also, reservation information needs to fill along with other details. 
  • Candidates instructed to please select the Medium /Language of Question Paper very carefully before applying for the MHT CET examination. 
  • The MHT CET examination medium will be English, Urdu, Marathi for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Documents Upload 

  • Candidates should upload their passport size photograph and a scanned copy of their signature.
  • The photograph should be in .jpg format ranging from 15kb-50 kb. And signature should be done with black ink and should scan at 200 dpi.
  • The size of the candidate signature should range from 5kb-20kb.
  • Applicants have to upload one Id Proof in .pdf format between the size of 15 to 256 KB only.

MHT CET Application Fee

  • The application fee can pay online as well as offline.
  • The application fee for MHT CET is INR 800 for the General category, while students of reserved categories should pay INR 600.
  • Students opt for the online payment method; he/she will have to use a net banking facility or pay through credit card/debit card. The offline payment can make through an e-challan, which will generate automatically.
  • With a late fee of INR 500.

MHT CET Exam Centres 2021

Candidates must review the MHT CET eligibility requirements 2021 before filling out the application form. Candidates will be asked to pick the cities of their choosing in order of preference when filling out the MHT CET application form. The MHT CET 2021 exam centres will be assigned to candidates based on the choices they make on the application form. The MHT CET exam will be held in approximately 166 exam centres throughout Maharashtra's 35 districts. Candidates would have to select four districts from a list to participate in the test, with the most preferred at the top and the least preferred at the bottom, based on their own commuting convenience.

Correction in MHT CET 2021 Application Form

Maharashtra's State Common Entrance Test Cell does not allow candidates to make any changes or corrections to their MHT CET application form after it has been submitted. Those who enter incorrect details and want to make changes will have to first cancel their previously submitted MHT CET 2021 application form and then fill out a new one. It should be remembered that those who cancel their applications will not receive any compensation.

How to cancel MHT CET Application Form 2021?

Candidates may note the steps provided below for cancelling the submitted application form of MHT CET 2021:

  • Visit the official website at mahacet.org

  • Enter the MHT CET 2021 portal and then log in using the application number and password

  • Click on the link to ‘Cancel Application’

  • A pop up will appear on the screen requiring candidates to enter their registered mobile number.

  • After entering, candidates will receive a one time password (OTP) on their registered mobile number

  • Candidates will have to enter this OTP to affirm their request for cancellation of the MHT CET application form 2021.

  • This will be followed by entering the cancellation remark and then they will have to click on ‘Proceed’.

Candidates will reapply for the MHT CET 2021 after their application has been cancelled. Such candidates should take extra caution this time to fill in all of the details to ensure that no inaccurate information is entered.

Things to preserve after MHT CET 2021 Application Form

Candidates sometimes fail to write down the information that are later used because they are in a hurry while filling out the MHT CET application form, or because they are unaware. The following is some of the material that candidates should keep in mind:

How to retrieve the MHT CET password?

Many students are careless with their passwords, which they created during MHT CET registration. Candidates in this situation should go to the official website and take the steps below:

  • Click on the option to retrieve password through OTP at a mobile number or email, as convenient

  • Now enter the username

  • Fill in the captcha code

  • Now click on ‘Send OTP’, whether to registered email ID or mobile number

  • Candidates will be required to create a new password with the specified combination of letters and special characters

  • Click on submit and login to cross-check

MHT CET Exam Dates

The MHT CET 2021 exam will be held in April by the exam conducting authority. The exam will be administered online as a Computer Based Test (CBT) at multiple test centres. No, there are some exam centres in Bihar, Chattisgarh, Delhi-NCR, Gujrat, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh depending upon the number of applicants.

3. Is aadhaar mandatory for filling the application form?  

No, the candidates who do not have an aadhaar card, can opt for non-aadhaar based registration to fill MHT CET 2021 application form.

Students must go through below given section to know about the MH CET eligibility criteria details:

  • Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian national.
  • State Candidates: Students are eligible to apply for a domicile certificate/school leaving certificate/birth certificate issued by the Maharashtra Authority.
  • Other State Candidates: Candidates issued by an authority other than Maharashtra with a domicile certificate/DOB certificate/residential certificate are also eligible to apply.
  • Qualifying Exam & Marks: Applicants must have passed their 10+2 level test from a recognised board or university, achieving at least 50 per cent marks (45 per cent for reserved categories).
  • Appearing: Students who qualify for their final year certification test are also qualified to apply.
