Overview of MAT

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a national entrance exam which is conducted in India since 1998. MAT is conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) for admission to MBA and allied programmes across various B-schools in India. MAT was approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development in the year 2003. MAT is offered 4 times in a year (February, May, September, and December). MAT 2019 Exam Dates for December Session has been announced

Students who wish to appear for the MAT Exams that are to be held in December 2019, will have to register themselves through online mode. PBT mode of MAT 2019 exam is held on 8th December 2019. CBT mode of MAT 2019 exam is held on 14th December 2019. The last date to register for the exams are 1st December 2019 incase of PBT mode and 6th December for CBT mode. Students who apply for PBT mode of MAT 2019 can download the MAT Admit Card from 2nd December 2019. Students who chose CBT mode of MAT 2019 can download their MAT Admit Card from 10th December 2019.

Important Dates of MAT

MAT exam is conducted four times a year in February, May, September, and December. It is expected that MAT registration starts in the 1st week of March, July, and October 2019 and MAT is conducted in both paper-based and computer-based type. The important dates of MAT 2019 are given below.

What is the Eligibility Criteria of MAT?

Aspirants who are willing to apply for MAT 2019 December exam should check the eligibility criteria before the MAT registration. Candidates who meet the eligibility can apply for MAT and the applications don’t meet the eligibility criteria will be rejected by the officials. The eligibility criteria for MAT 2019 is as follows, 

  • Graduates in any discipline are eligible to apply.
  • Final year students also apply for MAT and those candidates should submit a certificate from the Principal or Registrar of the College mentioning that they have completed their graduation or its equivalent qualification on the date of issue of a certificate.
  • No age limit to apply for MAT exam.

What are the documents to keep ready while MAT Registration?

Candidates have to apply for MAT 2019 December exam after checking the MAT eligibility. Aspirants who are going to apply for MAT 2019 should keep the following documents ready along with them, 

  • Valid Email Id 
  • Scanned image of the photograph in the prescribed size (40 to 100 kb)
  • Scanned image of the signature in the prescribed size (10 to 40 kb)
  • Credit Card/Debit Card (ATM Card) or Net Banking details

What is MAT 2019 Admit Card?

MAT Admit Card 2019 is the entrance hall ticket that allows the candidates to appear for MAT 2019 exams. The dates provided for downloading MAT 2019 Admit Card for Paper Based Test is from 27th August 2019 to 1st September 2019. For Computer Based Test, the admit card will be available for download from 9th September 2019 to 14th September 2019. Only students who had successfully registered for the exams will be able to download MAT 2019 admit cards. Follow the below provided steps to download MAT 2019 Admit Card from online.

  • Visit the official page of MAT.
  • Enter your registration number and roll number.
  • MAT 2019 Admit Card will be displayed.
  • Students should download and print the admit card.

Information on MAT 2019 Results

MAT 2019 results for the February 2019 session was released on 2nd March 2019. The results for the May 2019 session was released on 24th May 2019.  The date for the MAT 2019 results for the December session will be announced by the authorities through official notifications. Students can check their results through online mode. Follow the below given steps to easily check your results.

  • Visit the official website of MAT.
  • Click on the “Results” tab.
  • Enter the candidate roll number, registration number and month of attending the exam.
  • Click “Submit”.
  • MAT scorecard will be displayed on the screen and it can be downloaded for further use.
