New Update: Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2020 - As per the newest update, the Maharashtra Class 11 Admissions 2020 i.e. FYJC Admission process has resumed on 26 November 2020 and in line with this the vacancy list for various junior colleges are published online. The news about the resumption of the category 11 Admissions has been confirmed by School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad. Ms. Gaikwad took to Twitter saying ““As directed by the government, we'll now continue admissions in accordance with the Supreme Court’s interim stay order. we'll complete the admissions process over a subsequent fortnight .” Candidates who are seeking admission to Class 11 in Maharashtra can now check the vacancy list online by logging onto portal 11thadmission.org.in. New Update: Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2020 - Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2020 began from August 12th, 2020 for FYJC Online Admission 2020, Provisional first Merit List for Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2020 was released on August 30, 2020. The seat allocation tab would be activated tomorrow, August 31, 2020, at 10 am. Students can check the seats allotted and confirm their admission until September 3, 2020. The Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2020 will cover junior college (Class XI and XII) admissions under 6 civic (metropolitan) corporations and the MMR (Mumbai Metropolitan Region) regions. Improved class X results across boards and a bigger pool of 90-percenters applying for first-year junior college (FYJC) admissions resulted, cut-offs by up to across streams. Several colleges saw a hike of 2-6% in three streams, science cutoffs, too, increased this year, with Sathaye College, Vile Parle, going from 84.4% last year to 92.8%.
