KVPY Syllabus 2020 - KVPY is a scholarship exam conducted every year for the students who want to pursue an undergraduate degree. The KVPY Examination will be conducted on 31st January 2021. The first step towards KVPY preparation is to understand the KVPY Syllabus 2020 completely. They offer monthly scholarships to the selected students and also conduct summer camps. The KVPY Syllabus 2020 is discussed in this article. Indian Institute of Sciences, Bangalore is all set to conduct Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana also called as KVPY exam in the month of November this year, it has also released the official advertisement seeking applications from the interested and eligible candidates from across the country. Candidates who have applied to take part in the KVPY aptitude test this year must download the KVPY Syllabus 2020 from the official website of KVPY at kvpy.iisc.ernet.in. The exam is conducted for students who are willing to join the science and research department. Qualified candidates are offered a fellowship if they pass the Aptitude test conducted by KVPY followed by an interview. Candidates who have applied for the KVPY aptitude test this year should immediately download the KVPY Syllabus 2020 from the official website of KVPY at kvpy.iisc.ernet.in. The streams referred to in this article are for classes 10th/11th/12th/1st year of B.Sc/BS/B.Stat./B.Math./Int.M.Sc/MS etc.

The KVPY SX syllabus covers the topics and chapters form classes Class X, XI & XII. Again the same four subjects are covered in the syllabus – Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. It is just that the KVPY Syllabus for Class 12 is added for the SX stream.

Syllabus 2020 - FAQ
A total number of 80 and 120 questions for SA and SB/SX stream will be asked in KVPY question paper respectively. Out of which only 80 questions are supposed to be attempted.
Yes, 0.25 marks for part-I and -0.5 for part-II are deducted for the wrong answers.
There are no specific marks prescribed by KVPY as passing marks. However, students need to score the cut off marks, at least, in order to be selected in the KVPY Exam.
All students who have appeared for the KVPY exam say that going through NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training) study material helps a lot in cracking KVPY. It is difficult to exactly point out books that you should study from, as the syllabus is very broad.
KVPY exam is based on Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.
