When Karnataka PGCET Counseling 2020 be conducted?
Karnataka PGCET counseling 2020 is likely to be held in the first week of September 2020. To check the seat allotment Karnataka PGCET Result 2020, candidates are required to enter the PGCET number online. Candidates allotted seats in the second round are required to pay the admission fees and download the admission order by entering Karnataka PGCET number and captcha text. The facility to pay the fees, download admission orders, and report to the colleges will start operation in the third week of September 2020. What is the process for Karnataka PGCET Counselling 2020?
In Karnataka PGCET 2020 Qualified candidates are required to appear for Karnataka PGCET counseling. Candidates call for the Karnataka PGCET counseling 2020 process based on their ranks. Candidates are recommended to attend the Karnataka PGCET counseling 2020 only if they have the required percentage of marks in the qualifying exam (50% for unreserved categories and 45% for reserved categories). Karnataka PGCET 2020 counseling process will tentatively begin from the last week of August 2020.
The counseling process comprises the following steps
Karnataka PGCET Counselling Registration
Candidates need to visit the nearest helpline centers for counseling registration and document verification. To register, candidates need to enter their PGCET numbers.
Document Verification for Karnataka PGCET Counselling
After registration, candidates need to appear for document verification. During document verification, the original documents of candidates will be verified. Candidates found eligible during the document verification process will only be allowed to participate in the option entry and seat allotment process.
Generation of the secret key
Once the certificates of candidates are verified, they will be given a secret key. Candidates will require the private key to register and generate a password at the time of option entry. Besides, using the confidential key candidates can log in, change options, save and delete options, and print allotment details.
Display of seat matrix
Before the release of seat allotment, the examination authority releases the seat matrix. The option entry process begins after the seat matrix is published. Seats are allotted to candidates as per the seat matrix.
Option Entry Process
Candidates need to enter their preferences, of course, or college based on the available seats. Candidates have the facility to enter as many options as they want.
Karnataka PGCET Mock Allotment
Before the actual seat allotment is published, the examination authority releases the mock allocation based on the preferences entered by candidates.

Seats are allotted to candidates based on the merit and priority of options entered by candidates during option entry.
Payment of admission fee and self-reporting
Candidates allotted seats need to download the challan and pay the admission fees. After payment, candidates will be able to download the admission order. Candidates need to report to the allotted college along with the admission order and copy of challan.
Karnataka PGCET Result 2020 - Inter-se-merit
In case two or more candidates secure the same merit, then inter-se-merit is determined concerning the total aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying exam. If the marks obtained are equal again, the inter-se-merit is determined based on the candidates. Older candidates are preferred over younger ones.
Re-Totalling or Revaluation of Marks: The Karnataka examination authority does not entertain requests for re-totaling or revaluation of OMR sheets.
