JELET Counselling 2020 - West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has published the official notification regarding JELET 2020 counselling on November 25.  The board will conduct JELET counselling in online mode. Because of the ongoing COVID pandemic situation, it is decided that WBJEEB will not conduct the JELET-2020 examination. Instead, WBJEEB will conduct centralized online e-counselling and provisional admission based on marks in the qualifying examination (Diploma/BSc examinations) for the candidates who have already applied for JELET Counselling 2020.

Candidates notified for JELET counselling 2020 via a notification on wbjeeb.nic.in. Eligible candidates must report to allotted dates and centres on the JELET 2020 counselling day. It will conduct on June 28, 2020, for admission to 2nd year (3rd semester) in a four-year degree course in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy under lateral entry scheme.   • The application form for JELET 2020 has extended till April 30. 

  • WBJEEB publishes five separate merit lists based on candidates’ performance in the entrance test. 

  • WBJEE JELET 2020 Counselling session will begin in August 2020.

  • JELET Application Form was published on March 26, 2020.

  • The JELET application fee of INR 500 has to be made online by the candidates.

  • Candidates must have a pass diploma and B.Sc with 45% marks. 

  • JELET 2020 question paper will consist of 100 questions of the objective type, and the total time limit is 120 minutes. 

  • Each negative response will retrieve (-1/4) marks.

JELET Counselling 2020 Fee

Candidates qualified to appear the round of counselling must register themselves for counselling as per schedule. Candidates registering themselves for counselling must fill the form of counselling at its official website with the counselling form fee as per below.

Counselling Form Fee: Rs. 500/- (as per the last year details)

Mode of payment: The counselling fee amount shall be payable by online mode using Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking

The JELET counselling 2020 process consists of various stages such as registration, choice filling, reporting to the college, seat allotment, fee payment, document verification, etc. Check the process in detail below.

JELET 2020 Counselling Registration

The registration link activated on the official website. Candidates have to attend the official website and register themselves. The registration requires some details such as name, roll number, the application number, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, etc. After that, pay the registration fee through credit card, debit card, or net banking.

JELET Choice Filling and Seat Allocation

After registration, candidates will call for the choice filling. Candidates have to fill the decision of branch and college for admission. After choice filling, the admission officials will declare the seat allotment result. The seat allocation will be done based on the marks scored, seat availability, etc.

What are the Documents to Carry for JELET Counselling 2020?

At the time of JELET counselling, eligible candidates are required to produce some important documents for verification purposes. Without verification of these documents, admission shall not be confirmed. Documents must be both original and self-attested. Without it, the candidate will not be allotted seats. Candidates must carry the following documents at the time of JELET 2020 counselling.

  • Downloaded registration form of counselling.

  • The downloaded hard copy of the JELET 2020 Rank card.

  • A hard copy of JELET 2020 Admit card.

  • Recent coloured photograph.

  • Cast certificate (if applicable) issued by the competent authority

  • Domicile certificate issued by the competent authority in case candidates taking admission in a Government college.

  • Date of birth Proof.

  • Marksheet of 12th class ( only for B.Sc. candidates )

  • All the mark sheets of Diploma/B.Sc. Course passed.
