What is the JEE Main Exam Pattern?

JEE Main is a computer-based exam consist of objective type questions. It consists of 2 papers such as paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 1 is conducted in both online and offline mode, whereas the paper 2 is conducted only in offline mode. It consists of questions from subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Paper 1 is for admission to Undergraduate courses such as B.E./B.Tech. Paper 2 is for admission to courses like B.Arch and B.Planning. Paper 1 is conducted for 3 hours and there will be 30 questions from each subject (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics). 4 marks will be given for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.   • Questions in Part III will be based on drawing
  • For Part 1 and Part 2, questions will be 4 marks each and 1/4th of the total mark allotted will be deducted.
