JEE Main Exam Pattern 2020 - JEE Main Paper Pattern 2020 has been released by National Testing Agency and all the aspiring candidates have to go through and check it without fail which will be followed in the JEE Main 2020 Examination when preparing for the Test. JEE Main Exam Pattern 2020 Released

JEE Main Exam Pattern 2020 has been released by National Testing Agency for the JEE Main Exam 2020, JEE Main from this year onwards will be conducted over 3 separate papers for B.E/B.Tech, B. Arch, and B. Planning. The JEE Main Exam Pattern 2020 helps the candidates to know about the marks and number of questions and the scheme of the test, etc. JEE Main 2020 September session papers have commenced as scheduled from September 1- 6, 2020. More details on the JEE Main Exam Pattern 2020 can be obtained in the article.

B.Plan aspirants will have 25 questions on Planning instead of drawing while the exam pattern of JEE Main will be same for Maths and Aptitude. Planning section will also include a written passage.

Exam Pattern 2020 - FAQ

1. What are numerical questions in JEE Main?  

Numerical questions have a numerical value as an answer and these have to be generally accurate to the point of 4 decimals in most exams. Unlike multiple choice questions, these answers need to be worked and calculated by students. The numerical value answers of JEE Main are done using the mouse and on screen virtual numeric keypad that is given in the test on the screen.

2. Is there any part from the syllabus for numerical questions as per the new exam pattern of JEE Main 2020?  

No, the JEE Main syllabus 2020 does not specify any such portions for numerical questions. Questions that need calculations and whose answers will be a numerical value may figure in the question paper.

3. What is the marking scheme of JEE Main?  

As per the marking scheme of JEE Main, for MCQ questions, candidates are allotted 4 marks for each correct answer and there is a negative marking of 1 marks for each incorrect answer. In case of answers with numerical values, candidates are allotted 4 marks for each correct answer and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

4. What will be the level of difficulty for JEE Main 2020 exam?  

There are high chances of the moderately high level of difficulty for JEE Main 2020 exam due to its high competency level.

5. What will be the mode of language in JEE Main Paper 1?  

JEE Main Paper 1 will be available in both English and Hindi languages. However, for the exam centres chosen in Gujarat, Daman & Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli, the paper will also be available in Gujarati language.
