JEE Main Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility of JEE Main still remains the same. Aspirants can check the JEE Main eligibility criteria here. Candidates who meet the JEE Main eligibility criteria are eligible to apply for JEE Main 2019. The eligibility criteria are given below for the candidate's reference.

  • Candidates must have passed his/her 12th examination with 75% marks (General) and 65% marks (reserved categories).
  • Aspirants who are applying for B.E/B. Tech must have studied Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology.
  • Aspirants who apply for B.Arch/B. Planning must have studied 12th with the subject Mathematics. Candidates no need to meet the pass percentage to take JEE Main exam.

What is the Exam Pattern of JEE Main 2019?

JEE Main consists of two papers such as paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 1 consists of questions from subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The total number of questions from Paper 1 is 90 and the total marks are 360. The time duration allotted to complete the exam is 3 hours.

  • Questions will be in both Hindi and English
  • Part 3 questions will be based on drawing
