  • Passed the Higher Secondary School (class 12) examination with the Minimum Competency-based vocational courses conducted by the different divisional boards of the Maharashtra state board of secondary and higher secondary education with the following subjects
  • Applicants must have taken English as a mandatory subject and also should have studied one of the modern Indian/modern foreign languages/ IT. Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education scores determine admission
B.Sc
  • Should have passed class 12. For examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent students should have secured not less than 35% marks in aggregate at one & the same sitting
  • Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education scores determine admission
B.Com
BMS (Bachelors in Management Studies)
  • Should have passed class 12. Examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent students should have secured not less than 50% marks in aggregate at one & the same sitting
BMM (Bachelors in Mass Media)
BBI (Bachelors in Banking & Insurance)

Selection Process

Admission will be granted completely based on merit i.e., the marks secured in 10+2 qualifying exams.

Note: 

  • AIDED Courses- Students taking admission to Aided Courses, are supposed to pay only the Government's fee.
  • UNAIDED Courses- College does not get aid from the Government for such courses; hence, students need to pay the entire fee as per the college's fee structure. 

B.Voc. 

Apart from the courses mentioned above, the college also offers a B.Voc. degree with two different specializations:

  • Software Development
  • Travel and Tourism

To be eligible for these courses, the candidates must possess a 10+2 pass certificate. Admission will be based on merit secured in the qualifying exams.

Admission Procedure

  1. Fill the Jai Hind College admission form online on the official website.
  2. Submit a copy of the application form along with a photocopy of all semester mark sheets of Bachelor's degree to the concerned department, Jai Hind College on or before the last date
  3. The counselling schedule and admission process for the PG program will be displayed along with the merit list.
  4. Submit the required forms and documents before the last date.
  5. Jai Hind College merit list 2021 will be released as per course wise on the official website.

Mandatory Documents for PG admission

  • Printout of Jai Hind College online application form.
  • Mumbai University pre-admission online registration form for PG as given in university portal.
  • A photocopy of the semester I to semester VI mark sheets at B.Sc/ B.Com level. 
  • Caste Certificates/ Non-creamy layer certificates issued by the competent authority in the State of Maharashtra as applicable.
  • Students from other Universities require eligibility certificate for admission. The college will forward their applications to the University of Mumbai. In case, the application is rejected by the University, the College will not be responsible for the same.
  • Only complete admission forms with all supporting documents will be considered for the merit list. 
  • XII Marksheet: original + 2 photocopies.
  • Candidates from Universities other than Mumbai University will have to submit their migration certificate: original + 2 photocopies.
  • Gap affidavit wherever applicable.
  • Jai Hind College cut off 2021 varies from course to course.
