New Update: IPU CET 2020 Exam Date - IPU CET 2020 Exam Date has Announced the IPU CET 2020 exam Date B.Pharma & MCA CET / CBT 2020 06 Oct 2020 (8:00 am to 10:30 am), and for MCA 06 Oct 2020 (12:30 pm to 03:00 pm). Earlier Exam Dates is announced to held on 28th August 2020, candidates who submitted the IPU CET Application Form before the last date can start their preparation. Candidates can check and download the revised IPU CET 2020 Exam Date. The exam will be conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, and a university-level exam organized every year to offer admissions into various UG & PG courses. IPU CET 2020 Exam Dates are declared by Indraprastha University, and IPU CET 2020 stands for Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test, it offers admission to the various Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses. What is the process of filling IPU CET Application Form 2020?

Visit Official Portal

  • Log on to the Official Website(ipu.ac.in)

  • Click on the link Apply Online

Application Form Fill Up

  • Fill up the details like personal information.

  • Name, parents name, date of birth, category, gender, etc.), mailing address (locality, city, pin-code, etc.) and contact details (mobile number, email ID).

Documents Upload

  • Students can upload the photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression.

  • Click on Next to go to the academic qualification page and follow the instructions.

Enter Academic Qualifications

  • Add details of qualification- the year of passing, board/university, and percentage of marks for 10th, 12th, graduate, and postgraduate degrees.

  • Those students applying for a postgraduate, master's programs must fill the detailed academic qualification form.

 Agree to Declaration

  • Students must agree with the declaration given and enter the captcha code.

  • Click on Ok to proceed further and on Cancel to edit your information.

  • It is the only chance to edit the Details present in the IPU CET application form.

  • Students Advised that note down your login ID and password after submitting the application form. Login ID and password will also be sent to the registered email ID.

IPU CET Course Selection

  • Students should enter the details by selecting the exam category and course.

  • The date and time of the exam will show on the screen.

  • Candidates can select the IPU CET Exam centres from the list.

IPU CET Application Fee

  • The candidate will direct to the bank payment page after submitting the course application form.

  • Fees can pay by using Debit/Credit card/Net Banking.

  • Pay the fee of INR 1000, and save the receipt.

IPU CET Application Form Generation

  • After successfully submitting the application form and paying the fees, a confirmation page of the application form will appear.

  • Download it out and save it for further reference.

What is the Status for IPU CET 2020 Application Form? 

The purpose of checking the IPU CET application form status is to know whether the application form has been received or not. If the form has been filled correctly and the fees have paid, the status shown will be successful. If any of the processes remains incomplete, the application form status will be unsuccessful.

  • Students should log in using the application ID and password.

  • Verify the information and click on the Submit button.

  • The current IPU CET application status will appear on the screen.

How to Retrieve Application Number and Password?

Candidates can recover their forgotten application number and password by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official website of IPU and go to the Students login page.

  2. Click on the option Forgot Application Number/Password.

  3. Candidates should enter the registered email ID, birth date, and captcha code.

  4. A link will send to the Applicants email ID, which will contain the Required information for retrieving the password and application number.

Application Form Correction-IPU CET 2020

After the IPU CET 2020 application form is submitted, in case of any mistake in the date of birth, spelling mistake in the name of applicants or the parent's name or the choice of category/region claimed for availing reservation, the applicant must submit an application in physical form (together with applicable processing fees of INR 500)-

  • This IPU CET application must submit within five working days of the last date of form submission, together with the applicable fees.

  • After this, no request for any correction will entertain by the Examinations Division.

  • The University will notify the window for correcting before/during counselling for admission.

1. What are some of the programs offered under IPU CET?

The programs offered under IPU CET are B. Tech/M. Tech/M. B. B. S/BDS/BCA/BSc./LLB/BAMS/BHMS/BPT/BPO/MLT/BASLP/BBA/BJMC/B.Com (Hons.) etc.

2. Will there be any negative marking in IPU CET Exam?  

Except for the programs MBBS, PGMC, SSMC, DM, and MCH, IPU CET for all other programs havethe provision of negative marking.

3. Can I opt to apply for multiple courses under IPU CET ?  

Candidates can select multiple courses under the same category in a single Application Form. However, to select multiple courses across the categories, you have to fill separate Application Form under separate registration.

4. I have appeared for IPU CET. Does it ensure that I will be able to attend the counseling for admission?  

No, merely appearing for IPU CET does not ensure that a candidate gets to appear for the counseling session for admission into GGS IPU programs. Candidates need to score at least the specific Cut off score in order to be eligible to be shortlisted for the counseling process. The cut off list is released separately for all the academic programs offered by the university.

5. On what basis is seat allotment done for admissions during IPU CET Counselling?  

Seat Allotment for admission during IPU CET Counseling is done on the basis of candidates merit, category, and region.
