About IPU CET 2020

IPU CET(Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test) is an Entrance exam conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). For IPU CET admission to UG & PG programs in the field of Engineering, Medical, Dental, Law, and Management. IPU CET 2020 will be performed in May and will last until the first week of June 2020. IPU CET Application Form 2020 will be available online mode from February 2020. The exam is entirely offline. Eighty-one colleges are accepting IPU CET 2020 for admitting students in various programs.

What are the Eligibility Criteria for IPU CET 2020?

Nationality:

The applicant must be an Indian citizen.

Age Limit:

For UG courses, the minimum age is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 21 years.
For PG courses, the minimum age is 21 years, and the maximum age limit is 35 years.
For Bachelor of Vocation, applying students should not be beyond 45 years of age.

For B.Tech (Biotechnology):

Applying candidates must have passed in the 12th level with a minimum of 55% marks obtained in PCM with biology/bio-technology in each subject as well as in English.

For M.Tech (Tool Engineering):

Students must have passed with 60% marks in B.TECH/ B.E in tool engineering/ Mechanical/ Mechanical and Automation / Production/ Production/Industrial engineering, or it is equivalent.

For MBA Programme:

Student must have done Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology or any other discipline OR
Applicants must have passed the final exam of ICSI / ICWAI / ICAI.
They must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying exams.

Details about IPU CET Application Form-2020

IPU CET Application Form 2020 will release for various courses in February 2020.
The IPU CET application process will contain various steps like Filling the application details, uploading the scanned images, Academic qualifications Details, selecting the course, and making fee payment.
Candidates must fill the IPU CET application form correctly, as no correction will be allowed after the form submission. However, in case of mistake, the student can submit a physical form by paying a certain amount of fee.
The IPU CET Registration will make available online only.

For all category Students, the fee will be Rs.1000 for each program.
Mode of Payment: Debit/credit card/net banking method.

What is the IPU CET Exam Pattern 2020?

Exam Mode and Date: IPU CET 2020 for various courses will Conduct in April-May 2020 in offline mode.
Type of Questions: IPU CET Questions asked in the paper will be objective.
Number of Questions: A total of 150 questions will be there in the B.Tech paper.
Language: Exam paper will be available in the medium of English.
Time Duration: 2.5 hours will give for B.Tech and 3 hours for other courses.
Total Marks: Exam paper will be of a total of 600 marks.
Marking Scheme: 4 marks will give for every correct answer. One mark will deduct for every incorrect answer.

Details of IPU CET Syllabus-2020

The IPU CET syllabus 2020 will vary for various programs. For UG courses syllabus will be from 10+2 level topics, and for PG courses syllabus will be from graduation level topics. Aspirants can check the curriculum for various courses online from the information brochure.

For B.Tech (Biotechnology) Programme:

The B.Tech syllabus will indicate various topics from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology (Botany and Zoology) of the Class 12th level.

For MBA Programme:

The MBA Syllabus will include various topics from – English Language & Comprehension, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, and Reasoning ability, including data interpretation.

IPU CET Admit Card-2020

The admit card of IPU CET 2020 made available online. Candidates will be able to download admit card using their log-in Id & password. After downloading, students must paste their passport size photograph on it.
Candidates will be able to download IPU CET admit card a few days before the entrance test. Candidates must keep their admit cards safe until the admission procedure as it may need during the counseling process.
No, the admit card will send through post or any other offline mode. With the admit card, students must carry their valid id proof on the exam day. The request for the issue of duplicate admit card the University will not consider.

Reservation-IPU CET 2020

As per the reservation of the University, 85 percentile of the total seats will reserve for candidates belonging to the Delhi region & the rest 15% seats will be offered to the outside Delhi region Students. Applicants belonging to SC/ST/widows or PWD will be allowed 5% relaxation of marks in minimum eligibility conditions required.

How to Check the IPU CET Result-2020?

IPU CET Result 2020 will be made available online by entering the login details. The examination result will declare at different dates for various courses. Applicants will be able to download their IPU CET scorecard/merit list by online mode. In case, any candidate has any doubt regarding the result, and they can view their OMR sheet by paying a certain amount of fees.

IPU CET Cut off-2020

The University will prepare IPU CET cut off marks based on various factors – Level of difficulty of the test, marking scheme, the number of seats, the total number of candidates appeared, last year cut-off, etc. It will release for All India level, Delhi and Outside Delhi candidates. Candidates must secure marks in the test as per the cut off marks prescribed to get selected for counseling.

Counselling process-IPU CET 2020

After the declaration of the results, qualified candidates are required to Print Provisional Allotment Letter and appear for counseling. IPU CET 2020 Counselling will conduct in two procedures – Offline & Online.
For the offline IPU CET counseling, applicants have to visit the allotted venue individually, pay the Counseling fee, get the documents verified, and lock the seats. It will perform for various medical and PGMC programs. The online counseling will conduct for multiple courses – B.Tech, BBA, BCA, BCOM, BJMC, LLB, BED, MBA, MCA, etc. Complete details of counseling will notify online.

IPU CET Exam conducted in over 15 test cities. Candidates asked to select their preferred IPU CET Exam Center at the time of application form-filling. IPU CET 2020 test center for all courses except B. Tech, MCA, and MBA programs in Delhi only.
