• The IIM Ahmedabad(IIMA) admission in this institution is extremely rigorous, and different programs in the IIMA have different admission criteria. For the preliminary screening, Students need to pass the CAT exam with scores within the institution's eligibility. The Common Entrance Test(CAT), also known as CAT, is a pre-requisite for admittance to various postgraduate and other programs of IIMs.
• Students to be eligible for the CAT must hold a Bachelor's degree with 50% marks or the equivalent CGPA. The applications for CAT are submitted by September end, and the examination takes place in November. The test takes place across 156 test centers in different cities, and the candidates can choose four centers based on their choice.

IIM Ahmedabad Special Programmes

This IIM Ahmedabad also offers Executive Education with more than 200 programs intended to meet the different personal and professional requirements of an executive. Executives attending 21 days of any of the programs are eligible to become a part of the alumni association. One can apply in this course by submitting their nomination online or sending appropriately filled nomination by e-mail/courier.

Details about IIM Ahmedabad- Scholarships

• IIMA offers a plethora of scholarship to its candidates to help them with their financials. It has Special Need-based Scholarships for its two-year PG programmes. Some of these scholarships contains IIMA Special Need-Based Scholarships and IIMA Exit Scholarships.
• Additionally, many alumni of the university have issued different scholarship options to the students, namely the PGP Alumni Endowment Funds, Class of PGP 2001, Shri GC Mital Entrepreneurship Aid, Peri Viswanath Scholarship and Smt. J Nagamma Memorial Award. Established organizations such as Aditya Birla Group and OP Jindal Group have their scholarship programs affiliated with this institution.

Need-Based Scholarship Scheme (PGP):

• IIMA Candidates to allow pursuing its programs (PGP & PGP-FABM) to all eligible applicants, who need financial assistance. The scholarship amount decided based on several criteria such as annual gross family income, ownership of assets, and the number of dependents in the family. The applications for these scholarships are invited every year in July/August/September.

For FPM:

• The fellowship covers all academic expenses (consisting of tuition, computer, library, placement, and alumni fees) and living expenses (comprising medical insurance, boarding, and lodging).
• Also, students in the first and second year will be entitled to a monthly stipend of Rs. Thirty-two thousand eight hundred per month, after clearing the Comprehensive Exam, he/she will be eligible for Rs. Thirty-five thousand four hundred per month and after submission of the TAC approved thesis proposal, he/she will be available for Rs. 39,300 per month, which will be inclusive of food allowance.
• An additional allowance of Rs. Fifty thousand issued to enable students to purchase their personal computers. The Institute offers sufficient funds to meet contingency expenses to cover research work. The Institute may find support for exceptional international students.

Industry Scholarships:

• The IIM Ahmedabad awards several industry scholarships to candidates based on academic performance. The Aditya Birla Scholarships and the Sir Ratan Tata Scholarships instituted by Sir Ratan Tata Trust, Mumbai, are examples of such scholarships. Nestle India Ltd. has established an award for the PGP-FABM program.

For PGPX:

• The PGPX program has instituted 5 Interest Waiver Scholarship on merit basis, which will work as an interest waiver on bank loans taken by aspirants (for the program fee) for a year. The maximum amount for the scholarship can go up to 3 Lakhs.
