What is the eligibility to apply for IGNOU Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing 2021?

Candidates can check the minimum eligibility criteria for the IGNOU Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Exam. Only candidates who fulfil the criteria for IGNOU Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Exam will be called on for taking up the Test. Candidates have to both through the criteria before applying for the IGNOU Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Exam.

In-service Nurses i.e. Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM) having 10+2 with 3 years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with a minimum of 2 years experience (after registration as RNRM) in profession. (For male nurses who have not done midwifery in GNM program, should have a certificate in any of Nursing courses of 6-9 months duration prescribed by Indian Nursing Council in lieu of midwifery).

In-service Nurses (RNRM) having 10th class (Matriculation) or its equivalent with three years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with a minimum of five years of experience (after registration as RNRM) in the profession. (For males nurses who have not done midwifery in the GNM program, should have a certificate in any of the nursing courses of 6-9 months duration prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council in lieu of midwifery).

Age Limit: No maximum age limit to apply

Note: Those with less than 2 years of experience after Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM) should not apply.

IGNOU Hall Ticket 2021

On April 6, 2021, the IGNOU Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Admit Card will be issued. In addition, on April 11th, 2021, the IGNOU Post Simple B.Sc. To download the Admit Card, candidates must enter their login information on the official website.

When will IGNOU OPENNET 2021 Result be released?

The IGNOU OPENNET Result 2021 will be released on the official site of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Region-wise merit list for admission to Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing January 2021 session will be made by authority on consideration of marks scored in OPENNET – IX (Entrance Test). Merit List will be displayed after the IGNOU OPENNET results. In case 2 or more candidates get same marks in OPENNET – IX (Entrance Test), the inter-se ranking shall be determined on the following criteria for tie break.
