IELTS Speaking

IELTS Speaking test assesses applicant fluency in spoken English. It is a face to face interview round between an examiner and the test taker. This component of IELTS is divided into three parts, and every part is recorded. The IELTS Speaking duration is 11-14 minutes.

IELTS Reading test is 60 minutes and consists of 40 questions created to test a candidate's English Reading skills. IELTS Academic Test:

  • It consists of three long texts which can be descriptive, factual, discursive, and analytical.

Cancellation/Request for a Transfer IELTS Test Date

IELTS test Request for Cancellation or postponement is available. However, the petition must be made strictly five weeks before the test date via email or in-person only. Telephone cancellation/postponement will not accept.

  • Students have Cancellation more than five weeks ahead of the test date will receive a full refund (less a 25% administrative fee)
  • Removal less than five weeks ahead of the test date, you will receive no refund.
  • Student's failure to attend the test without notification is considered a cancellation, no refund will provide, and you must register and pay again if you wish to take the test on another date.

Students seeking Cancellation or transfer within the 5-week period before the test date/those who fail to look for their scheduled test, can receive a refund (less a 25% administrative fee) if they can issue evidence within 5 days that their ability to sit for the examination has been affected by severe illness/cause:

Exams 2022 - FAQ

1. How do I sign up for IELTS?
  • Visit the IELTS website for more information.

  • Make an appointment to take the exam.

  • Choose a test form and a date.

  • Fill out the application form fully.

  • Both of your documents (including the candidate's passport) should be uploaded. This phase isn't needed.

  • After you've paid the fee and double-checked all of the data, you can continue.

2. What is the object of the IELTS examination?

The IELTS exam is designed to assess a candidate's English language proficiency in order to determine if they are eligible to study or work in a country where English is the primary language. This test is also adopted by countries for the purpose of immigration.

3. What happens if an applicant is unable to take the exam due to a real medical condition?

If an applicant fails to show up for the test, they will forfeit the entire fee. If an applicant is unable to take the exam due to a legitimate medical condition, they must request a medical certificate within 5 days of the exam in order to obtain a refund after deducting the administration fee.

4. What countries recognise the IELTS score?

The IELTS score is accepted in more than 140 countries. It is recognised by a number of organisations in major English-speaking countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Apart from that, IELTS scores are accepted by non-English speaking countries for admission to various colleges and universities where English is taught.

5. When will the applicant be able to take the IELTS exam again?

Candidates can take the IELTS exam again at any time.
