New Update on 04-03-2023: CISCE Board Exam 2023 - On December 1, 2022, CISCE made the ICSE timetable 2023 available. Between February 27 and March 29, 2023, the Board will administer the ICSE board exams in offline or pen-and-paper format. On the official website, cisce.org, the dates and a timetable for the ICSE exams are released. In PDF format, it lists the exam dates for all of the topics covered in class along with the day and times. Additionally, it contains instructions for students to follow on exam day.

About ICSE
The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education is also known as ICSE as mentioned in the ICSE official website it is an examination conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) which is a private board of school education in India for Class 10. It was established in 1958.
The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education has been designed to provide an exam in a course of general education, according to the New Education Policy 1986, through English medium. The ICSE Board focuses on a student’s overall growth, so it provides a balanced curriculum to all its learners. Students can also find all the information related to ICSE Board in their ICSE official website.

In the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education, each candidate must choose at least 6 subjects in class X(10th).

He/she must score more than 33% in 5 subjects except English to pass the examination.

No grace marks will be awarded to students, failing in any subject.

The council does not accept any request for revaluation of the answer key after the declaration of the result.

ICSE Exam Pattern
The ICSE exam pattern differs for each subject there are subjects like English(1,2), maths, physics, chemistry, biology, history and civics ,geography, computer and environmental studies. It has long answer type question multiple choice type ,2 mark answer., etc.
ICSE result 2023
The board is expected to release the ICSE 10th result 2023 on the official Website. Students will be able to check their ICSE class 10 result 2022 using their course code, candidate UID and the index number.
Exam Guidelines

Be seated in the examination room 5 minutes before the exam time.

An additional duration of 15 minutes will be given for reading the question paper before starting the exam
-
Carefully read all the instructions given on the question paper.

It will be better to answer only those question numbers that are mentioned in th4e question paper.
-
Do not write/scribble on the question paper. Only put your signature at the given space.

All the details must be filled with a Blue/Black ball-point pen only.
-
Write on both sides of the answer booklet and draw margins.
-
The use of any electronic device,hand,desk or any other types of calculating machines is strictly prohibited.
-
Do not copy the whole question, just mention the question number clearly on your answer booklet.

Clearly write your Unique ID , Index number, subject and other details on the inner page of the answer booklet. These details should also be mentioned on the front sheet of each continuation booklet used, and on graph paper, loose map etc, if used.
Exams 2023 - FAQ
ICSE refers to the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education. This class is equivalent to class 10.
You can apply for ICSE 10th exams by taking admission in a CISCE affiliated school.
ICSE students have six subjects and have to pass in English and any four of the other five subjects to get the pass certificate.
