What is the Eligibility critreria for CUCET 2020?
Candidates must fulfill the eligibility as per the norms of AICTE for appearing in HPCET 2020 before they start filling the HPCET application form 2020.
- Aspirants must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board/university with at least 45% aggregate marks for general category students and at least 40% marks for reserved category candidates.
- Applicants need to have studied Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects in class 12, along with one of the Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational subjects.
Details about HPCET Application Form-2020
- HPCET Application Form will be available tentatively from the 1st week of March 2020. All candidates applying for the exam must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria of HPCET. Candidates advised reading all the instructions in the information brochure before filling HPCET Application Form.
- The application form for HPCET 2020 will be available on the official website. To fill HPCET 2020 Application Form, Students will have to first register themselves on or before the last date of submission. After the completion of registration, applicants will able to fill the Application Form for HPCET 2020. The Laws of Motion Physics and Measurement, Motions Rotation Work, Energy, and Power, Theory of Gases, Dynamics Properties of Solids and Liquids, Oscillations and Waves, Current, Power, The Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Current The Current and the Magnetic Effects of Magnetism, Electronic Equipment, Electromagnetic Waves, Communication Systems, Atoms, and Nuclei.
Chemistry

HPCET Admit Card-2020
HPCET Admit Card 2020 only available for the successfully registered candidates. The HPCET admit card will release tentatively in the first week of May in online only. HPCET Admit Card 2020 is a document that students must download and take a printout to carry to the exam hall. No applicant is permitted to enter the exam hall without the possession of a valid hall ticket.
How to Check the HPCET Result 2020?
The result of HPCET 2020 will declare in the 4th week of May. Candidates can check HPCET 2020 Result by logging in on the official website. The result will display with details of candidates along with the marks they have scored in each subject. Candidates advised to download and print their HPCET results or scorecard after checking it.

How to check the HPCET Answer Key 2020?
HPCET Answer Key 2020 will be available on the same day as the exam. With the help of the HPCET answer key 2020, candidates can cross-check the responses they have marked against the questions in the exam and figure out their probable score. If the test takers find any discrepancy in the official answer key of HPCET 2020, they can raise their complaints and write to the university at the following address along with the supporting documents/solution about question papers/answer keys.

Details of HPCET Cut off-2020
HPCET cut off is the minimum qualifying score that Students need to secure in the test to get qualified for counselling and seat allotment. HPTU will declare cut off of HPCET 2020 after the declaration of result. Only the successful applicants whose score is more than or equal to HPCET cut off 2020 will provide admission as per their rank Secured in HPCET 2020 exam.

HPCET Counselling Process-2020
HPCET Counseling will start in the first week of June. Candidates qualifying HPCET will be eligible to appear in the counseling session after completing the registration process. Candidates will shortlist for counseling based on the merit list prepared based on scores Secured in HPCET or JEE Main, depending upon the test they are applying via for seeking admission. HPTU will conduct the counseling for JEE Main Qualified Students from July 3, 2020, and for HPCET qualified candidates from July 8, 2020.
- 50% seats in all the participating colleges will be allocated to JEE Main 2020 qualified candidates through the counseling, while the remaining places will offer to candidates who qualify HPCET 2020
- In case vacant positions are left even after the counseling for JEE Main 2020 & HPCET 2020, then the seats will be allotted to students based on their merit in 10+2.
During the counseling, seats in engineering colleges of the states will allow participating candidates as per their preference. To confirm their positions, Students have to pay HPCET admission fee. Applicants have to pay the registration fee online via debit card/credit card/net banking. After completing the counseling, process candidates have to appear for their allotted institutes for document verification.
What are the Documents Required for HPCET Counselling 2020?
- S5tudents Certificates of class 12 and class 10.
- Class XII and X mark sheets provided by the board.
- Date of birth certificate/matriculation/higher secondary/Indian school certificates showing the date of birth.
- JEE Main/HPCET scorecard.
- Character certificate from the head of the institution last attended.
- Bonafide/domicile certificate provided by the concerned authority.
- Reserved category certificate provided by the competent authority, if applicable.
- Physically challenged certificate provided by the competent authority, if applicable.
- Income certificate issued by the competent authority.
- An affidavit attested by the Executive Magistrate if applied under Beti Hai Anmol Scheme.
- Kashmiri migrants and domicile certificate provided by the competent authority, if applied under supernumerary Kashmiri migrant quota.
HPCET Exam Center-2020
HPCET Exam Centers are the venues where the state-level entrance test conducted. HPCET conducted across 16 cities and towns of Himachal Pradesh. Exam Centres allotted based on choices filled by candidates in the HPCET application form.

Exams 2020 - FAQ
HPCET 2020 counseling process has been started on October 11. Candidates can refer to the table above for more information.
For every correct answer, two marks will be awarded and 0.5 marks will be deducted for each question answered incorrectly.
Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) conducts the Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET).
The HPCET 2020 exam is conducted in offline (Pen and Paper Based Exam) mode.
Although it is not mandatory to take coaching for cracking HPCET, if a student has the convenience of opting for coaching, s/he may opt for the same to ensure that the preparation is done under proper guidance and strategic way.
