The Goa MBBS merit list 2022 have been released at dte.goa.gov.in. For Goa MBBS admission 2022, candidates must report to the Directorate of Technical Education, Porvorim, on October 17, 2022. Only those applicants who will pass the NEET medical entrance exam and have submitted a Goa NEET application form 2022 will be listed on the state merit list.

What are the Details of Goa NEET Cutoff 2021?

DTE Bardez will release the Goa NEET Cutoff for 85% of the state quota seats while the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on behalf of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will conduct admission to 15% All India Quota seats. The released cutoff will be the minimum qualifying percentile/score to be obtained by the candidates in NEET 2021. While preparing Goa NEET cutoff, several factors will be considered such as the number of seats, the number of candidates appeared for NEET 2021 from Goa, availability of seats. As per last year’s Cutoff, candidates are provided with the expected NEET cutoff for Goa NEET admission 2021:

What are the Tie-Breaking Criterias of Goa NEET Merit List 2022?

While preparing the Goa merit list, the authorities face a situation in which two or more students have scored equal marks in NEET 2021. In such a situation, DTE Bardez uses the following tie-breaking criteria:

1. Marks in Biology – First preference will be given to the candidates who have scored higher marks in Biology subject in NEET 2021.

2. Marks in Chemistry If the tie is still unsolved, a candidate who has secured higher marks in Chemistry will be given priority in the merit list for Goa MBBS admission 2021.

3. Negative marking – In case tie still exist, candidates who have secured less number of negative marking will be preferred in the merit list.

4. Age – In case of a tie still not resolved, the final deciding criteria will be the age of the candidate. The one who is older in age will be given higher preference in the merit list.
